Top Ten Most Wanted Pokemon Newcomers for Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS

I know Greninja, Charizard, Lucario, and Pikachu are the only Pokemon that are scheduled to be playable characters in the new Super Smash Bros., but this is a list of Pokemon that I would enjoy seeing in the new game as characters.
The Top Ten
1 Sceptile Sceptile, known in Japan as Jukain, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

Sceptile is by far the strongest and most popular Grass Type starter. We've already got Greninja and Charizard confirmed for smash, and they're arguably, also the strongest and most popular starters of their own typing respectively. Having Sceptile in super smash bros would be the perfect addition, balancing the Water/Fire rivalry between Greninja and Charizard. The best pokemon of their 3 gens, Gen 1 Gen 3 and Gen 6. Who wouldn't want that?

We need another generation in Super Smash Bros., and a grass type starter. Sceptile would fill both blanks, and look good doing it. Give him a mega evolution for a final smash, and try his leaf blade and other varied attacks for specials, smashes, and standards. It will be awesome to have Sceptile fighting all those other characters. Who's with me here?

Sceptile is actually a crucial Pokemon to add. They already added Greninja, the Generation Six Water-type starter, and Charizard, the Generation One Fire-type starter, so it only makes sense that they should add the Generation Three Grass-type Starter, Sceptile.

2 Mewtwo Mewtwo is a psychic-type Legendary Pokémon from Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon media franchise. Designed by Ken Sugimori, it made its first appearance in the games Pokémon Red and Blue. It was created by Dr. Fuji using gene splicing in an attempt to clone Mew. In the Pokémon games, it's infamously known as the most powerful Pokémon among all species. Mewtwo is capable of evolving into two... read more

Jigglypuff has no relevance anymore. She never really did in the first place in the games. They threw her in because she appeared often in the anime, and now they refuse to take her out because "she was one of the original 12." Take out Jigglypuff and put in Mewtwo. It would especially make sense with Mega Mewtwo now (the Pokémon with the highest base stat total in the game).

I don't know why Mewtwo wasn't in Brawl. A Legendary should definitely be added, and Mewtwo is definitely the most logical choice.

He has been confirmed for DLC! I would've preferred him to be available when the game released, but at least he is in the game!

3 Tyranitar Tyranitar, known in Japan as Bangiras, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

A slower, tougher Pokemon that can use Rock, Ground, & Dark type moves would make it so unique for the game! Moves like Stone Edge, Earthquake, Rock Blast (or Rock Slide), Dark Pulse, or Hyper Beam would make it an all new experience, & like I said, just make it stand out (& w/ a wide spectrum)! A final smash could even be a combination of Sandstorm & it's Mega Evolution. Tyranitar & Sceptile are the best candidates (as well as Mewtwo), as they're also from not used generations.

Tyranitar would be the first pseudo-legendary to be a playable character, and a pseudo-legendary fighter is long overdue. Plus, Tyranitar would be the best choice.

Again Why isn't he in the game again.

4 Blaziken Blaziken, known in Japan as Bashāmo, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

I love all Pokemon and I am not entirely a Blaziken fan but this Pokemon is really cool. It is just clear that this awesome fan favourite fire type can be a challenging opponent, ally or fun to play as. I'm totally sure that Blaziken is a Pokemon anyone would like to play as in Smash. Yes, I do want Sceptile in the game because of the fire, water and grass starter trio and we already have Charizard as the fire type but Blaziken can still be an exception to the long line of Pokemon in this game.

Unlike every other pokemon on this list (magneton, really? ) Blaziken is actually recognizable and has a chance in smash bros.

Plus how the hell would magneton even fight anyways? He has no hands! What would his animation be for when he is buried? What about his item holding animations?

Blaziken is half Fighting-type, so it would be good in Smash Bros. , but it wouldn't really fit in. It would have to replace Charizard, and then, we couldn't have Sceptile.

5 Scizor Scizor, known in Japan as Hassam, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. It is a Bug - Steel type, and was first introduced in the Gen 2 games (Gold and Silver) in 1999.

We have yet to have a decent Gen II representative in smash bros, and Scizor fits the bill. Its cool, sleek, and if you have any interest in seeing Scizor in smash, look no further than this Brawl hack:

Nintendo, do this already!

Seems random but actually if you think about it could be a really good fit and also pretty popular

6 Genesect Genesect, known in Japan as the same name, is a Legendary Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

Genesect would be a good fighter because of the gun over its head. Except, just like Zoroark, Generation Five probably wouldn't have a representative.

7 Zoroark Zoroark is a dark type Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game freak's Pokémon franchise. It evolves from zorua at level 30.

Zoroark is on this list for the same reason as Pangoro. The only reason it is this far down is because I wouldn't expect a Generation Five Pokemon to be added.

Well He would fit in well and it it is definitely better than "Genesect" and his moveset could be half lucario and half metaknight.

8 Pangoro Pangoro is a dual-type Fighting/Dark Pokémon introduced in the Pokémon franchise's sixth generation. It evolves from Pancham and is known for its tough appearance and combat skills. Pangoro's design and demeanor reflect its warrior-like nature, and it often stands up against injustice. Its unique dual typing makes it a versatile addition to battles.

The only reason I would like to see Pangoro is because he is kind of the Sixth Generation version of Lucario. To be honest, I think he should replace Lucario.

If any Pokemon should replace Greninja (Greninja NEEDS to be replaced. He was a terrible addition) its Pangoro

My favorite Gen 6 Pokémon by a long shot. The time for Gen 6 has already passed, so oh well.

9 Eevee Eevee, known in Japan as Eievui, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise first introduced in the games Pokemon Red and Blue. Considered as the evolution Pokemon, it has the most evolutions out of all Pokemon species. Eevee can evolve to Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon depending on the method used. It serves as the mascot in the... read more

I really like the concept of having Eevee and it's Eeveelutions as playable characters. My idea is that you would start out with Eevee, and you could unlock different items for him to hold (water stone, moss rock, fairy-type TM) that would make the Eevee evolve in battle. The Eeveelution would depend on the item it is holding.

The Best and Cutest Pokemon. Tied with charizard for best gen 1 pokemon. Tackle Swift Double Edge for counter and Final Smash Eevium Z.

Eevee could have alternative skins has it's evolutions kinda like Bowser Jr

10 Nosepass Nosepass, known in Japan as the same name, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.
The Contenders
11 Hawlucha Hawlucha, known in Japan as Luchabull, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

Hawlucha would be a cool Pokemon to have because it is the only Fighting and Flying-type Pokemon. It would make a great fighter and introduce a lot of new moves. Also, its jump would be flying.

Already not included in Pokken whereas Mewtwo, Tyranitar and Sceptile already are. seriously, it's a fighting type pokemon...it belongs in a fighting game...

I'm a big fan of Hawlucha I think they should take Jigglypuff out.

12 Magneton Magneton, known in Japan as Rarecoil, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.
13 Remoraid
14 Excadrill
15 Mantyke
16 Deoxys Deoxys, known in Japan as the same name, is a Legendary Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

Cool as hell, won't happen, though.

17 Jigglypuff Jigglypuff, known in Japan as Purin, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

Jigglypuff may not be the best Smash Bros. fighter, but it is one of the two Pokemon that where in the very first version, and it has sentimental value to many Smash Bros. fans.

18 Decidueye Decidueye, known in Japan as Junaiper, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

I don't think Sceptile's got as good of a chance now that Decidueye exists. I'd love to see this guy, because he's my second favorite Pokemon, and there's no way Vaporeon is getting into any smash game outside of Super Smash Land.

This Pokemon could actually have a unique moveset. It can fly, shoot arrows, and it's a grass type. Other popular characters don't actually get in because they don't have unique traits or aren't relevant enough to the game.

IMAGINE! It could have arrow based moves, grass type starter, can fly sorta like charizard, could have a z move as it's final smash, and more! This would be perfect honestly!

19 Blastoise Blastoise, known in Japan as Kamex, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.
20 Gengar Gengar, known in Japan by the same name, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

I have no words. I'm not satisfied until you put gengar in the next super smash bros game. Shiet

He's way more popular than Sceptile!

Way better than some above him.

21 Torkoal

Torkoal would be awesome!
B: Flamethrower (Like Charizards).
Side B: Withdraw (Like Squirtles).
Down B: Body Slam (Jumps up then quickly slams into the ground. Buries anyone. Stronger the higher Torkoal is. )
Up B: Rapid Spin (Like Bowsers).
Final Smash: Overheat. (Shoots a big pillar of flames and rocks. Flames deal more damage at the start of the move. Rocks stay the same. )
A: Headbutt twice then a bite.
Dash A: Spins.
Up A: Attacks upwards with head.
Side Smash: Jumps forward. The longer held further he goes and more damage.
Up Smash: Retreats into his shell then jumps up.
Down Smash: Spins around shooting smoke.

He would be pretty slow but have great defense.
He could use great fire moves and have Overheat as his Final Smash which like the game would be stronger at the start.

B:Flamethrower
Up B: Rapid Spin (Rises up will spinning. )
Down B: Body Slam (Like Yoshi's or Kirby's. )
Side B: Rolls around in his shell.

22 Gallade Gallade, known in Japan as Erureido, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

Gallade for the win! It would make sense, since he's part fighting type. He could also have some projectile psychic attacks.

23 Greninja Greninja is a Water/Dark type Pokemon introduced in Gen 6. It is the evolved form of Frogadier and the final evolved form of the water starter Froakie. Aside from the usual Torrent ability all Water starters have (Which raises the power of its Water moves), it also has the ability Protean, which changes it's typing to the latest move it used. In Sun/Moon, Greninja also has the ability Battle Bond,... read more

After Ash-Greninja, I wasn't surprised this made it in.

24 Delphox Delphox, known in Japan as Mahoxy, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

The reason it might be a good fighter. That firesword could be used as a weapon.

Was so upset Greninja måde it in when Delphox didn't. I wont suppoet a game with unfair character selection so I sure don't get Ultimate.

25 Grovyle

Grovyle would be the perfect grass-type representative because of the role he played in the Mystery Dungeon series, he also is more sleek and cooler than sceptile. his final smash should have something to do with Time Gears

Just plain better looking than Sceptile and the leaf blade is an awesome attack. Would make a good agile fighter.

He was an amazing character, we need someone to represent the overlooked PMD series, and he's the perfect fit!
