That's not true. In fact, the big bang theory was proposed by a priest. Atheists don't believe only in the big bang theory. There are many other theories that are equally plausible but they are less popular just because those theories are not accepted by religion.

I don't believe in creation because they believe that the universe is only a couple thousand years old. Laugh out loud because we have evidence of civilizations older than that.

I'm sorry, but we have evidence of the big bang.

My religious studies teacher did respect my opinion, but boy, she was a moron.

I suppose I'm talking about teachers in general here.

There isva lot of proof the world is much older than that. Stone Age archaeological discoveries, the stars and the ancient Greek civilization has proved it.

I was never taught that and I had Religious Education class like most people do in school.

It was actually created billions of years ago.
