Top 10 Worst Years for Disneyland

1. 2020

   

   Yeah, I think everyone knows why it's at number one. The park was only open for two and a half months. So, basically, the only people who visited that year were locals or people who like to go at quiet times.

2. 2021

   

   It's slightly better than the previous year, but not by much. While the park was open more, by this point, Bob Chapek now had full reign, and well, budget cuts galore.

3. 1998

   

   The opening of the infamously butchered "Tomorrowland '98". Even today, the PeopleMover tracks don't move people because of how bad that renovation was.

4. 1970

   

   The year the Yippies invaded Disneyland. Seriously, Google it.

5. 1974

   The opening day of Disneyland was nothing less than a disaster. Rides were down, a plumbing strike meant that there would be no working water fountains, among other things.

7. 2001

   

   While 9/11 was bad for the park, the real thing was how terrible California Adventure was when it opened.
