Top Ten Animes that are So Bad They're Good
This list will focus on animes that are ridiculously campy, have the cheesiest monologues, or english dubs so horrible that they are unintentionally hilarious. Yes there are a lot of great animes and a lot of bad animes but there are some animes that just break the laws of the terrible and from that births this list. I'm talking about that campy cheese you watch that would normally be a horrible anime but for some reason it just makes you laugh and for that you kinda..sorta..love it..The english dub of Ghost Stories is basically a parody. Apparently the japanese creators knew how utterly terrible their show was so they told the english voice actors that they could do whatever they wanted with it as long as the names of the characters were unchanged. The result is unedited and uncensored comedy gold.

I love this anime! I think it is pure gold
The beauty of this anime lies in the horrible english dub. I think whoever translated this anime into english just did it literally instead of trying to make things make sense in english. But the best part of this anime is how committed the voice actors are. Afterall "Humans are just human."
This little cheesy gem is unique to the Gundam franchise. Full of camp and strange attack names like "Erupting burning fingers! " this anime will make you cringe and laugh all at once. I especially loved the Sailor Moon-esque dance/attack combo of the 2 leads towards the end. This is one of the animes that my bro and I loved to make fun of with its serious main character shouting out "my fingers are burning red! " The corniness is real with this one.
One of the greatest Gundam series of all time
This anime starts off rather slow. It's about a doctor who operates and removes a strange cancerous growth from a patient. Then things get funky. Time travel? Mystical statues? Starfish-shaped cancer growth with teeth viciously attacking people and a doctor that glows and..literally..punches cancer in the face..yes. Confused? So am I. And I think it's so ridiculous that I might just like it.
"If this is justice then I'm a banana! " Yes. This is a real line from the anime. Enjoy.
The best part is how unrealistic the death scenes are. For instance, a girl gets her head blown off and a volcano of blood erupts from her kneck.
A killer angel girl repeatedly kills a teen boy when she believes he is being a pervert then revives him only to continue. Hilarity ensues.
Shoddy backgrounds with poorly animated people. Sometimes the voices don't even match up to when the people are moving their mouths. You may not have a high budget, good animation, or even story but it is because of this horrible quality that it is funny and for this we salute you Gun Samurai.

The action adventures are entertaining and reinforce the concept of good versus evil. Dragon Ball Z teaches valuable character virtues such as teamwork, loyalty, and trustworthiness. This is just bad. It's stupid.

Only referring to the English dub. The sub isn't so-bad-it's good, it's just good. Great, actually. The dub is hilarious though.
