Top Ten Cities That Don't Have NFL Teams
We just wished they had a team instead of big cities. That will have a better fan-base experience, smaller cities tend to have a better experience, just like Green Bay WI with a city population of just 105 thousand. Big cities already have several other pro sports like baseball with 162 games and NBA/NHL with 82 games, they have all other things to do there and small cities barely have some every weekend in the fall. I think of half of state capital cities to have an NFL stadium, including 20 with their proper-city name. All the big cities getting rid of their NFL teams will help with the attendance problems with other sports teams, mostly baseball with massive attendance problems mostly because of having an NFL team when they shouldn't have one. Almost all big cities should only have a few major pro sports teams instead of several.
Small markets are better than big markets for football and sometimes soccer. Baseball and sometimes basketball in big markets, hockey in medium markets, soccer in small markets, and football in tiny markets, just like the Packers play in Green Bay with its city population of just 105 thousand people and still fill up Lambeau Field entirely. This is why city population downsizing matters with football and sometimes soccer. In fact that all current and future cities shouldn't be having an NFL team or its stadium, they should be in small cities instead.
I want Providence to have an NFL team pretty soon, but be one of the NFL teams without an official mascot.
