Top Ten Episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants Where Squidward Is at His Worst

The Top Ten
1 Little Yellow Book

Squidward has done some stupid things that just pissed everyone off, but this is the episode where he just went too far.
In Fools In April when he made SpongeBob was upset, Squidward actually apologized to him at the end. But then the writers decide to turn him into a big jerk, and I mean a BIG jerk. I don't know why Squidward would even give a darn about SpongeBob's personal secrets in his diary, but he did. And he not only upset SpongeBob, but he showed no remorse whatsoever for his actions.
But the Bikini Bottom townspeople were what made me hate this episode even more, especially Patrick on top of all that. They're so hypocritical! The thing is, they make fun of people too, but blame it on other people when someone gets upset. They never take responsibility for their actions. Take this episode for example. They told Squidward to keep exposing SpongeBob. Instead of telling him to stop, they continue to take part in humiliating SpongeBob and finally when SpongeBob is hurt and ...more

This would be an appropriate episode for Squidward to have negative things happen to them. Because we like to feel like justice is being served. Since Squidward was acting like a jerk in this episode, the bad treatment would be punishment. However, in other episodes like Good Neighbors and Squid's Visit, his torment was unnecessary because he didn't do anything to deserve it.

Look I understand that SpongeBob always annoys Squidward like younger sibling annoys older sibling. But that is not an excuse for embarrassing the poor sponge. Like telling everyone his secrets. That is just horrible and unlike the April Fool special. Squidward didn't cared at all and didn't learned anything.

This version of Squidward is the complete opposite of the one in Fools in April. At least THAT one felt guilty for hurting SpongeBob. This one, I think Mr. Krabs put it best, "I wouldn't even SPIT in your direction."

2 Squidward's School for Grown-Ups

Squidward was the one this time who was acting immature in this episode, he tried to break up SpongeBob and Patrick's friendship-AGAIN this time because of a so-called beard.

I love this episode but I think Squidward is trying to keep Patrick from seeing spongebob so he no longer gets annoyed from both of them

3 Fools in April

I'm not saying that what Squidward did wasn't wrong, because it was, but he did soon realize what he did was cruel and felt guilty about it, and tried his best to apologize afterwards.
Compared to his current acts, he at least felt sorry for SpongeBob in this episode.

It's called 'Fools in April", and yes, it IS a bad pre-movie episode.

At least he learned his lesson.

He was cruel to SpongeBob

4 Gullible Pants

It's so cruel when Squidward tells SpongeBob lies about the Krusty Krab to ruin it.

5 Squidward the Unfriendly Ghost

Hey SpongeBob deserves this because he tortures squidward all the time besides this episodes funny

Karma though. He got a watermelon from the manure field in his mouth.

6 I Was A Teenage Gary

Him being neglectful of Gary after spongebob said to take care of Fred. Oh srry. I meant Gary. Spongebob made it clear

Who could blame squidward? He only wanted to be away from that annoying sponge

7 Pranks a Lot

I meant to put April Fools not Pranks a Lot!

8 New Digs

What did he do in this episode?! Nothing! He was just happy that SpongeBob wasn't living next to him anymore and SpongeBob was being creepy by turning the Krusty Krab into his house. One of my favorite scenes was the drum scene.

9 Boating Buddies
10 Lost Mattress
The Contenders
11 The Splinter

Squidward's such a prick here. Even worse than usual.

12 Naughty Nautical Neighbors

Why does Squidward want SpongeBob and Patrick to break up?

13 Patrick! The Game

This episode isn't Patrick being a jerk or Squidward Torture because Squidward did mock Patrick for trying to make a good game, and Patrick's game is NOT made from garbage - it was made from his other games. And Sandy and SpongeBob didn't kidnap Squidward in order to test Patrick's game because he was walking with them. Sure SpongeBob, Patrick, Sandy and the game annoy Squidward, but I can see them getting back at Squidward for mocking Patrick and the game.

I liked this episode cause Squidward insulted Patrick and his game, and told Patrick to explain the game while they play, and deserved what he got. It was Squidward's fault for taunting Patrick's ideas for his game. Sure he got tortured, but at least he saw what's coming to him.

No, Patrick and Sandy were bad in this one.

Patrick for making up stupid rules for his game, and Sandy for growling at Squidward and zipping his mouth shut.

If those cops hadn't showed up at the end, Patrick would have been all "Squidward! You broke my game! ".

14 Gone

There are actually two fanfics that theorized that Squidward was the one who came up with National No SpongeBob Day.

It was probably Squidward who invented National No SpongeBob Day NNSD.

15 WhoBob WhatPants?
16 Culture Shock
17 That Sinking Feeling
18 InSPONGEiac
19 Accidents Will Happen

This is one of Squidward's worst moments behind Little Yellow Book. He pretends that he is injured so that he can escape from work and do what he likes but good thing Mr Krabs found the truth.

This episode made me almost want to murder Squidward. I mean, he's my favorite character, he hates SpongeBob, he's tortured but this episode deserves way more hate than it gets, and he went way too far in this one. He pretended to get seriously injured to get out of working, while torturing Mr. Krabs-he had to do THAT while taking orders. Are you for real, Squidward?!
But the most worst part was that sappy dramatic story that he told the OWS worker about how he got 'injured on the freaking job'! He went to get another bun for a customer because it had ten seeds instead of eleven. You think we were all born yesterday?! This guy lokey thinks that Mr. Krabs has BARNACLES for brains! Like he'd care about customers! I mean, if you're going to be a liar, at least do it right! Pretty much the end was weird, the whole episode just sucks, and don't say it's a ripoff of I Had An Accident because it's not

20 Funny Pants

Squidward was pretty mean in that episode because he tricked SpongeBob into depression when you think about it. (Kind of like how Mr. Krabs tricked Plankton into depression in One Coarse Meal.) Many people thought SpongeBob's crying was annoying, but I actually felt bad for the poor sponge. He did nothing to deserve not to laugh. Imagine living without the ability to laugh. If I couldn't laugh the rest of my life I would commit suicide (like what Plankton tried to do).

21 Good Neighbors

Squidward is an ass and his fans are retarded as hell, this episode proves it!

He bought a security system so that he can KILL spongebob and Patrick with it, and when spongebob and Patrick wanted to apologize to Squidward, he doesn’t accept the apology. Sorry rabid Squidward fans but he doesn’t deserve symphatic here.

22 Artist Unknown
23 Slimy Dancing

This episode is dedicated to seeing Squidward trying to cheat in the competition so he can get an award.

ps-am I the only one who noticed this is a ripoff from "Big Pink Loser", a season 2 SB episode?

24 Squid Defense

Squidward was such a prick here. He lied to Sandy about what he promised and tortured a random stranger who was gonna give Squidward his groceries (the one he lost).

25 Skill Crane

He is so arrogant in this episode.
