Best Fullmetal Alchemist/Brotherhood EpisodesElric-san
The Top Ten
This is Roy Mustang when he is most badass. I might not like this Lust, but Mustang really showed just what he was capable of. Also, Riza's breakdown was brilliant. - Elric-san
This episode HAD to happen the show was making it very clear he was strong but was avoiding it. So when its shown it had to be epic and it was.
Roy was badass,
Riza was played brilliantly
Alphonse was developed
Lust was defeated
Plus a cliffhanger with hoenheim
They don't get any better than this
BUT LUST DIEDDD ARE YOU HAPPY THAT SHE DIEDD WHY
roy was badass though
This episode is the core of this series. It shows the relationship between the Elrics and their mother, and why they couldn't live without her. It's emotional and the best way to start the story of how it all began. - Elric-san
This episode has such a feeling of dread. The Homunculi are winning. Ed and Ling are trapped. There is no way out. It makes you want to see what will happen next. Envy's true form is also gloriously horrific. - Elric-san
Izumi never got to shine in Brotherhood, but here, her character has amazing quality. She's brash, yet kind, really cares about the Elrics, but is angry that she taught them to make the same mistake. Great episode, great character. - Elric-san
This episode doesn't need to exist, but it's too funny to leave off. We never really get to see Roy Mustang being goofy, so this was a nice change. Also, the subplot with the dog was priceless. - Elric-san
Amazing comedy pacing, character development, great fight scene, soundtrack... Just a beautiful episode.
It's such a cool fun filler. Just watch it for yourself and see why.
The final showdown, and it was brilliant. Every idea the characters gave are stunningly smart and unpredictable. A bit too happy of an ending, but still great. - Elric-san
Ed's determination is almost frightening. He will push until he can't push any more just to make sure he can help his brother. It's a great episode to showcase how strong Ed really is. - Elric-san
These poor people. This is a great war story, and a brilliantly written episode. I especially love the scenes where you see Mustang. You can see the moral struggle in his face, but he can't stop what he's doing because of treason. Absolutely great. - Elric-san
Hughes death in 2003 is beyond tragic. This character is built up so well throughout the series, but this episode takes the cake with his origin story with giving Roy the support he needs. - BreakerOfStone
Hughes' death is one of the most emotional FMA moments, and it was done much better in the original. You actually had a strong connection to Hughes, so it hurt that much more when he died. We will all miss you, Maes Hughes. - Elric-san
Why does so many Sonny Strait roles have to die? - TheDarkOne_221b
"Nina" + "Alexander"
Must be fusion summoned and cannot be special summoned in other ways. Fusion cannot be reversed in any way. Nina and Alexander cannot return from the graveyard until the end of the game. This card's effect is also activated in the graveyard.
Shou Tucker is a great dad and loves his daughter and pet dog.
This episode showed how twisted people can be, and just how much they can hurt others. Controversial pick, but make of it what you will. - Elric-san
Easily my pick. This was the episode that got me hooked.
Edwards cry at the end made this the best episode.
A true masterpiece of television, anime or otherwise. Winry's temptation, Scar's tragic backstory, and the underlying theme of wrath, to name a few. This single episode is one of the greatest 25 minutes in all of entertainment, and should not be ignored.
Never seen anything like it.
I don't usually cry. The emotional tension was 98 percent successfully at making me tear up.
Mustang Vs. Envy, Armstrong Vs. Sloth, Izumi, Buccaneer and the Ending Scene...
That fights with Ling, Lan Fan, Wrath and Gluttony was awesome.
LanFan is a badass
Thank you for coming to my tedtalk
Amazing action, I almost cried at the end... purely the best in my opinion
Poor Roy lol - TheDarkOne_221b
This is my favorite episode of all because of how hilarious the entire thing was. It might not have dealt with that much important story, but I was dying of laughter throughout the entire thing. From trying to find Havoc a girlfriend to figuring out what scared Fuery and Falman, this is the episode I watch over and over again and still manage to laugh every time. My favorite part of it is that after Havoc leaves the Armstrong mansion, he is not there mentally for the entirety of what’s left of the episode. Plus, the episode has Black Hayate in it, how much better can it get?
