NFL Players Who Should Go to the XFL

I’ve made a similar list in the past regarding the AAF. Now that it has crashed and burned, here we are with another new league. I hope the XFL finds more success, because I’ve always wanted spring football. Sorry I focused a lot on quarterbacks, please add more players.

The Top Ten NFL Players Who Should Go to the XFL

1 Antonio Brown Antonio Brown is an American football wide receiver and punt returner for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League. He would need to prove that he wants to play football again - SirSheep

3 Colin Kaepernick Colin Rand Kaepernick (born November 3, 1987) is an American football quarterback who is currently a free agent. Apparently he has expressed interest, but his salary demands were too high for this young league - SirSheep

4 Josh Gordon Joshua Caleb Gordon is an American football wide receiver for the New England Patriots of the National Football League.

If he can play in the XFL and finally prove that he can stay out of off the field trouble, he could revive his young but troubled career. - SirSheep

5 Joe Flacco Joseph Vincent Flacco is an American football quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League.

If he wants to start, he might have to go to the XFL. Both sides would benefit, as the XFL needs quality quarterbacks and Flacco will probably never be named a starting quarterback again in the NFL, barring injuries to other quarterbacks. - SirSheep

6 Marshawn Lynch Marshawn Terrell Lynch is an American football running back for the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League. He previously played for the Buffalo Bills and Seattle Seahawks, winning one Super Bowl in Seattle. Lynch initially retired from professional football in 2016, but returned in 2017 to ...read more.
7 Josh Rosen

Okay, to be fair to Rosen, he’s only been on some of the worst rosters in the league. But he was also brought in to fox that, which he quite obviously didn’t. When you’re benched in Miami, you really need some help. Some development in the XFL could be what is needed to save Josh Rosen’s career. - SirSheep

8 Nathan Peterman

At least in this league he’s going to look average. Let’s face it, he’s not going to make it in the NFL. There’s been poor quarterback play in the XFL, and this could be Peterman's only option. - SirSheep

9 Brock Osweiler Brock Alan Osweiler is an American football quarterback for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League.

He flashed with the Broncos, before putting together a few less than stellar seasons for multiple teams. I honestly don’t know where he is in the league currently. He could become a top quarterback in the XFL, and this is something that I want to see. - SirSheep

10 Reuben Foster

After the torn ACL and legal troubles, this could get his career back on track - SirSheep

The Contenders

11 Sam Bradford Samuel "Sam" Jacob Bradford is an American football quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. He was drafted by the St. Louis Rams with the first overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. He played college football at Oklahoma and as a redshirt sophomore Bradford became only the ...read more.

Due to his extensive injury history, I can’t see him getting anything mire than a backup job in the NFL, if even that. Again, he could look to revive his career in the XFL and probe that he is a quality player. - SirSheep

12 Alex Smith Alexander Douglas Smith is an American football quarterback for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League.

If the Redskins decide to cut him after he comes back from his brutal leg injury, he could find himself out of a job due to his age. He has said that he still wants to play, and he was playing at a high level before the injury. - SirSheep

13 Vernon Hargreaves
14 Jordan Reed Jordan M. Reed is an American football tight end for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League.

He has had concussion problems throughout his career, and was recently cut by the Redskins. If he wishes to continue playing, the XFL might be the place to go. When healthy, Reed is a quality tight end. - SirSheep

15 Charles Harris
16 Kevin White
17 Nick Foles Nicholas Edward Foles is an American football quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. He was named MVP of Super Bowl LII.

Much like Joe Flacco, Foles will likely spend the rest of his career as a backup, rarely seeing the field. The XFL needs veteran quarterbacks, and Foles might just be the answer for one franchise. - SirSheep

18 Philip Rivers Philip Michael Rivers is an American football quarterback for the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League.

After being cut by the Chargers, it’s hard for me to see him staying in the NFL and going to another team. He could put in another couple seasons in the XFL, and since he was a longtime starter in the NFL, he could increase viewership for the XFL - SirSheep

19 Hayden Hurst
20 Josh Doctson
21 Andy Dalton Andrew Gregory Dalton is an American football quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League.

He should go to the xfl because of he's doing in the nfl his rating's are not getting high and it's time for him to leave the bengals because he could get replaced by Joe Burrow and the xfl would be better for Andy Dalton

He could still be a high quality backup or stopgap option though - SirSheep

22 Marcus Mariota Marcus Ardel Tafuna Taulauniu Mariota is an American football quarterback for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League.
