Top 10 Most Overpowered Pokemon

These Pokémon not only dominate the battlefield but also have the potential to turn the tide in any situation, making them the ace up the sleeve for many trainers.

What do you think makes a Pokémon overpowered? Is it the raw strength to overpower any opponent, the agility to outmaneuver them, the endurance to outlast them, or the versatility to adapt to any situation?
The Top Ten
1 Mega Rayquaza

Close 2nd to Kangaskhan, it is super good because you don't need a mega stone! So you could give it something like life orb. But this thing is super good and looks BAD ASS.

It is a mega that doesn't need a mega stone and thus can hold another item. That is beyond OP. That is just broken.

If you look up "broken" in the dictionary, Mega Rayquaza will show up. It can mega-evolve without a mega stone, so it can wield powerful items such as a Life Orb or a Focus Sash. Its ability, Delta Stream, weakens all Flying weaknesses, making it only vulnerable to Ice-type moves. It ties with Mega Mewtwo X and Y for the highest base stat total for any Pokémon, coming in with 780. That roughly equals 4 1/2 Sunkerns!

2 Mewtwo Mewtwo is a psychic-type Legendary Pokémon from Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon media franchise. Designed by Ken Sugimori, it made its first appearance in the games Pokémon Red and Blue. It was created by Dr. Fuji using gene splicing in an attempt to clone Mew. In the Pokémon games, it's infamously... read more

In Gen 1, the Special Attack stat counted as Special Defense as well. It had the move Amnesia, which raised its Special stat by 2 stages. It would be that much powerful in just one turn. It also had Recover.

Strongest move to use of the game franchise "Final Fantasy" in Mewtwo's sets!

Yes, he did it! The real most overpowered Pokémon did it on this list!

3 Arceus Arceus is a legendary Pokémon from the Pokémon series. It first appeared in the 18th Pokémon movie alongside other Legendary Pokémon. In the Pokémon universe, Arceus is widely known as "The Original One", as it's believed to be the creator of the entire pokemon universe. According to mythology,... read more

Look, not only is Mew cute and the only Pokémon that is actually real, he is so boss! He is just amazing.

Mew can't only teleport, but he can also transform into any Pokémon.

Mew is incredible, and he beat Mewtwo, why? Because Mew is adorable and strong.

5 Lucario Lucario is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. Created by Ken Sugimori, Lucario first appeared as a central character in the film Pokémon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, and later appeared in the video games Pokémon Diamond and Pearl and subsequent sequels, also appearing... read more

Hands down, this is the best non-legendary Pokémon! I mean, he's got his own movie! Tell me that's not OP.

6 Primal Groudon

How is Pikachu above Primal Groudon?! This guy has only one weakness, some of the greatest stats, and a pretty good offensive combination. We shouldn't forget Groudon can easily cause an apocalypse with an endless drought, and he has a strong signature move (Precipice Blades). He is so good he's in every 2nd Ubers team on Showdown.

Primal Groudon scares me more than Mega Ray. He has better ATK, as well as solid defense and decent speed. Also, his ability covers his main (and obvious) weakness, as well as access to powerful moves like Precipice Blades and Stone Edge!

7 Pikachu Pikachu (Japanese: ピカチュウ) are a species of Pokémon, fictional creatures that appear in an assortment of video games, animated television shows and movies, trading card games, and comic books licensed by The Pokémon Company, a Japanese corporation. A mascot of the Pokemon franchise, it's... read more

Is this a joke? How could a Level 100 Pikachu lose to a Gardevoir but can defeat other stronger Pokémon like Metagross, Serperior, and Gyarados? Ash's Pikachu is way overpowered!

It's so cute and so strong and it has been in a parade! That is what I call amazing!

Of course, he's overpowered, besides he can't defeat Metagross! That was Ash's Pikachu on Level 100! And he can't defeat Mega Lucario.

It can evolve into eight different Pokémon!

Amazing access to Surf, Scald, Synthesis, Giga Drain, Leech Seed, Ice Beam, Swords Dance, Rain Dish paired with Rain Dance, and an amazing 40/30/50 bulk added with Eviolite makes Lotad an amazing Pokémon, definitely putting it in the top 10. Not to mention the amazing 30/40 attack stats which complement perfectly with Swords Dance and a Choice Specs Lotad or a Swords Dance Eviolite Lotad, along with base 30 speed and Swift Swim to outspeed the entire Ubers metagame, makes Lotad one of the best Pokémon to be made.

16 Gardevoir Gardevoir is a third-generation Pokémon species originally introduced as a Psychic type creature in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.
