Top 10 Most Surprising NFL Teams of Week 6 (2020)

Another Week in the books and here we go with the Surprising teams of the week. We had quite the slate of games we had incredible collapses, painful underachieving and just about everything in between. So let’s discuss what surprises the football gods had in store this week
The Top Ten
1 Arizona Cardinals The Arizona Cardinals are a professional American football franchise based in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

To me, the biggest surprise is the Cardinals going into Jerryworld and running the Dallas Cowboys out of their own home. Kyler Murray is now 7-0 at Dallas going back to high school.

The Cardinals were dominant on both offense and defense, forcing Dallas to be all out of whack on offense, which we'll get to.

2 Tampa Bay Buccaneers The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a professional American football franchise based in Tampa, Florida. The Buccaneers currently compete in the National Football League as a member team of the National Football Conference South division.

Tampa Bay is living up to their hype. They are playing as a well-rounded football team. Rob Gronkowski finally showed up.

By halftime, this game was a blowout. The Bucs beat up the Packers in what many thought would be a shootout, ended up being anything but that. And don't look now, but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in the lead of the NFC South.

3 Atlanta Falcons The Atlanta Falcons are a professional American football team based in Atlanta, Georgia. The Falcons compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference South division.

Man, Atlanta really went all out for that first win. They were up 23-0 on the Minnesota Vikings, also deep on the struggle bus. And I know what you're thinking, but no, the Falcons didn't choke this game away, which is more shocking honestly.

Ironically enough, the first game after firing Dan Quinn they won. Honestly, where has this team been this whole time, and why are they showing up now?

4 Denver Broncos The Denver Broncos are an American football team based in Denver, Colorado. The Broncos compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's American Football Conference West division.

This was a battle of field goals, and Denver was able to hold off New England. I get that New England isn't that good, but Denver, battered with injuries, won on the road.

That's a bit unexpected and caught me off guard.

5 Philadelphia Eagles The Philadelphia Eagles are a professional football franchise based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Eagles compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference East division.

Philly was battered and down big time against Baltimore. It was looking to be a blowout, but then somehow, they found a way to make this interesting and came back to almost put up 30 on the scoreboard.

Sure, they still lost, but give them credit where credit is due.

6 San Francisco 49ers The San Francisco 49ers are a professional American football team located in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The 49ers are another team devastated by injuries, and yet they beat the high-flying Rams. LA had no answers as San Francisco punched them in the mouth, and they never let up.

LA did come back, but it wasn't enough.

7 Dallas Cowboys The Dallas Cowboys are a professional American football team based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. The Cowboys compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference East division.

Dallas was absolutely smacked on their home soil by Arizona. I'll cut them some slack here because Dak is injured, but what I can't ignore is your defense being atrocious. It's so painfully obvious.

You can't give up big 70-80 yard touchdown plays to Christian Kirk and Kenyan Drake and convince me this defense isn't bad. Sit there and enjoy being in first in your weak division all you want, but ignoring your problems will only lead to your demise.

8 Green Bay Packers The Green Bay Packers are a professional American football team based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Packers compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference North division. The Packers have won 4 Super Bowls and 13 NFL championships.

Green Bay, what was that? Aaron Rodgers was horrid that game. That has to be the worst game I've seen from him in a long time, maybe the worst of his career.

They got owned by Tampa Bay, who is all of a sudden a very formidable team.

9 Cleveland Browns The Cleveland Browns are a professional American football team based in Cleveland, Ohio. The Browns compete in the National Football League as a member team of the American Football Conference North division... read more

I thought Cleveland would have more fight in them, but instead, they merely reinforced the narrative that Pittsburgh owns them. Baker Mayfield regressed, and the team just didn't show up.

So much for being 4-2. They looked rather lifeless.

10 Indianapolis Colts The Indianapolis Colts are an American football team based in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Colts compete in the National Football League as a member club of the American Football Conference South division.

Indy was getting blown out by Cincy. They were in a 24-7 hole. But Phillip Rivers played one of his better games in a while to rally the team back from the brink of defeat to beat Cincinnati.

As much criticism as I give Rivers these past two years with his age catching up with him, he still has it.

The Contenders
11 Minnesota Vikings The Minnesota Vikings are an American football team based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Vikings joined the National Football League as an expansion team in 1960, and first took the field for the 1961 season.
12 Cincinnati Bengals The Cincinnati Bengals are a professional American football franchise based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Bengals currently compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's American Football Conference North division.
