The Top Ten

1 The Flying Dinosaur (Universal Studios Japan)

One of the best B&M flyers - Maddox121

The world’s longest flying roller coaster, where guests are restrained on a prone position on an inverted coaster, and feel as if they’re flying in the most thrilling way.
This ride simulates flying like a Pteradactyl at high speeds includes crazy inversions and twists that’ll crush even your internal organs, adding up to an unimaginably thrilling ride you soon won’t forget.
It’s been known to have heart checks at the end of the ride, given how extreme it is.
Thrill level: 10/10 - Gregory

2 The Incredible Hulk - (Islands of Adventure)

One of the most iconic coasters in Florida, a unique coaster where the Hulk roars and riders launch up to the ride.
It has a launch that shoots riders up to 40 mph in 2.5 seconds at a 45 degree angle, and contains 7 inversions, a barrel roll, loops and corkscrews, at a top speed of 67 mph, which is typical for a roller coaster.
Part of it goes underground, which is a special treat for thrill seekers.

3 Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit (Universal Studios Orlando) Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit (Universal Studios Orlando)

A famous coaster that is known for riders selecting songs before they go up a 90 degree lift and drop nearly vertically and go through many twists, almost making inversions, but not quite.
The top speed is 65 mph, which is like the speed of a car on a highway, and it’s notorious for its rough side.
Riders are jerked throughout the rough track and their heads are banged onto the seats and they're not padded.
Thrill level: 8/10 - Gregory

4 Battlestar Galactica (Universal Studios Singapore)

The 2nd Duel-tracked Roller Coaster on Universal property.
There are 2 versions, the Cylon and the Human.
On the Cylon, guests hang on an inverted track at 51 mph, and on the Human, guests sit down like on most coasters, traveling at 56 mph.
Both coasters launch and subject riders to high speed and thrills, thought the Cylon gets the best reviews of the 2.
Thrill level: 8/10 - Gregory

5 Dragon Challenge (Islands of Adventure 1999-2017) Dragon Challenge (Islands of Adventure 1999-2017)

The 1st Duel-tracked roller coaster on Universal property and in the world after Space Mountain at Magic Kingdom.
It was an iconic staple at Universal Orlando.
Riders were hung on inverted tracks and flung through the rides and nearly colliding with each other.
When it was Dueling Dragons, guests were throwing loose articles at each other and Universal had to stop the dueling and ban loose articles from rides, adding metal detectors and lockers and stuff.
So they renamed it Dragon Challenge, and people didn’t like it as much as before.
Still, it was a thrilling ride for Universal fans, the Chinese Fireball and the Hungarian Horntail were 125 feet tall and CFB reached top speeds of 60 mph while HHT was 55 mph.
Thrill level: 7.5/10 - Gregory

6 Doctor Doom's Fearfall (Islands of Adventure) Doctor Doom's Fearfall (Islands of Adventure)

The iconic drop ride at Universal, 2 drop towers.
The main thrill of this ride is the anticipation, and never knowing when the ride is gonna start.
When it starts, you shoot up, and go back down, and the process repeats itself steadily though it dies down throughout the ride.
Guests are left chilled to the bone.
Thrill level: 6.5/10 - Gregory

8 Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey (The Wizarding World of Harry Potter) Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey (The Wizarding World of Harry Potter)

One of the most immersive rides ever created, guests travel through the Wizarding world and meet Hogwarts before embarking on an adventure through the world.
It’s extremely immersive, combining dark ride elements with flying theater elements, and it’s an EMV (Enhanced Motion Vehicle) simulator, though it’s got quite the rap on motion sickness, so warnings must be taken seriously.
It’s not extremely thrilling, but delighted by many guests alike.
Thrill level: 5.5/10 - Gregory
