Top 10 Most Underrated Hetalia Characters

1. Wy

   I'm just gonna say my opinion of who is underrated. By the way, I haven't read the manga much, so I'm only talking about the anime. Wy, Seychelles, Cuba, Australia, Cameroon, Egypt, Taiwan, Puerto Rico, Bulgaria, and Hong Kong. That is all I can think of. Let me know who else is underrated. Not the UK, US, Canada, Russia, China, Japan, Italy (North and South), Germany, Prussia, Austria, Spain, or Hungary, etc.

   She is so cute. I don't understand why people don't like her.

   He's pervy, but not a pervert, and there is a difference. He will stop if you ask him to.

5. Cuba

   Yes, he beats Canada up because he mistakes him for his brother, but at least he apologizes for it, and they hang out together after. He's not a bad guy.

6. Sweden

   He's one of my favorites. I wish he and the other Nordics got more screen time. He appears scary on the outside, but on the inside he's the sweetest and nicest guy you'll ever meet. I don't view him as scary. I think he's a hottie and a cutie. He's tall, blonde, sexy, and cute.

   People need to recognize him more. It hurts to see people reduce him only to his pairing with Finland. He exists outside of this. Every time I want to look for something related to him on Tumblr, TikTok, or Pinterest, I can't escape SuFin or people mentioning Finland. His character, culture, and kingdom are so much more interesting than the pairing.

7. Australia

   He doesn't get enough screen time in the anime if you ask me.

   Omg, nobody is even talking about him.

    I actually only just started liking him. I read "World Stars" (I can't find any other Hetalia mangas), and I got a much better picture of his character. I feel like he's a bit underdeveloped in the anime.

    Though he is a very popular character, I feel as though people see him as too 2D. Despite his happy attitude, he's endured many hardships.

    Poor Japan not getting any notice from people in our fandom. Canada is more popular than him and even Wy. He needs more love from us.

    He deserves so much more love than he gets. He fought Prussia and won, he's actually pretty muscular, he knows how to fight, this bean gets all the men, and he's honestly a great big brother figure to Estonia and Latvia.

    Too overshadowed by her obsession with her brother, but I think she represents the Belarusian dictatorship or people who cling to the Soviet past very well, which makes her character very interesting. I think Himaruya forgot the other part of her history and only concentrated on where she became a dictatorship.

    However, I find some of her characteristics well written even though she only portrays the dictatorship. She uses violence and physical abuse toward others, which represents that the country doesn't respect human rights. She constantly thinks of death and life, which is very philosophical and normal when you live under a dictatorship. She's also one of my favorites and is pretty.
