1 McDonald's (Dark Purple)
Purple would suit this logo much better than that horrible yellow.
I like the idea of it being transparent...

Blue would probably look better though. Just my opinion.
I already like the green, but red would be better.

I wonder why some of the most famous social networking sites are mostly blue.
1) Facebook - A white "f" in blue background.
2) Twitter - A white "t" in sky blue background
3) Yahoo - Yahoo! Written in blue letters.
Well, so all of these have some sort of blue in them. A change of color in at least one of those would be a nice change.
It would just make it look better.
