Top Ten Craziest Mario Characters

Mario characters can be... weird, sometimes. Some are a lot more eccentric than other and that is what this list is for - it's to count down the top 10 craziest characters in the Mario series. I'll explain how every character here could be considered insane since some choices you may not entirely agree on.

Itsa me, DapperPickle, and I'm here to present to you the Top Ten Craziest Mario Characters.
The Top Ten
1 Fawful Fawful, known in Japan as Gerakobits, is a fictional character appearing in the Mario & Luigi series of role-playing video games developed by AlphaDream.

His plastered on grin says it all. Fawful is extremely eccentric, he laughs a lot and cracks quite a bit of jokes. I haven't played the Mario & Luigi games but I know what he is probably the craziest out of everybody here so I think he belongs here.

Very overrated as well

2 Donkey Kong Donkey Kong is an arcade game released by Nintendo in 1981. It is an early example of the platform game genre, as the gameplay focuses on maneuvering the main character across a series of platforms while dodging and jumping over obstacles.

Donkey Kong is absolutely insane - he is a monkey after all. He kidnaps princesses for no real reason, he just shouts a lot of incomphrensable garbage...he is just a crazy ape. You could say he's...

bananas.

3 Wario Wario is a character in Nintendo's Mario series who was originally designed as an antagonist to Mario. His motives are driven by greed and he will take the side of whoever will give him the most pay. Although he may seem like just a mean man with no heart, he does have a very tragic past.

Wario goes to great lengths just to get some money, he is extremely rude and farts everywhere as well. Wario is just an extremely eccentric and juvenile person who I would consider crazy because of the absurdity of his games and personality.

Awesome anti-hero

4 Professor E. Gadd
5 Bowser Bowser is the main antagonist of the Mario Bros. Franchise. From kidnapping Princess Peach to simply destroying a fun game between Mario and Friends in the Mario Party spinoff series, this king of the Koopas has set up a certain hatred towards himself amongst the large cast of Mario Characters. He first appeared in the 1985 popular videogame, Super Mario Bros., in which he was responsible for kidnapping Princess Toadstool (more commonly known as Princess Peach), which was released in Arcades and on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) Videogame System.
6 Chain Chomp Chain Chomps, known as Wanwan in Japan, are metal, barking ball-and-chain like creatures that are restrained by Chains and are a main enemy in the Mario franchise.
7 Kamek Kamek is a common enemy in the Mario Bros. Franchise. He usually appears in New Super Mario Bros. Games, Super Mario Bros. Games, or other similar games. He also appears in spinoff titles, like Mario Party, in which he is not a playable character but creates an obstacle for the players on their way to winning, like mixing up their orbs.
8 Whomp
9 Petey Piranha Petey Piranha is a large mutant of the Piranha Plant in the Super Mario franchise and debuted in Super Mario Sunshine. Since then, he has been a recurring boss in games such as New Super Mario Bros. and has also made appearances in sports and spin-off games.
10 Waluigi Waluigi is a lanky self-centered, brusque young lad as he is considered evil and the main rival of Luigi. Waluigi is shown causing local havoc in most games he appears in alongside his partner Wario. Waluigi is not instinctively evil or the antagonist (not counting DDR), as a matter of fact, he shows great compassion for his fellow peers, typically for characters Daisy and Wario. Waluigi is also described as lonely, rejected, sad, or depressed due to his relationship with the Super Smash Bros. franchise, and people outside of Nintendo continually rejecting him. In recent years, people have come to Waluigi's defense, giving him support and even starting a cult following. In sum, Waluigi is the ...read more.
