Mario Kart Retro Tracks that Should Be on Another Cup
I did it with nitro tracks so let's do the same with retro tracks. I wasn't able to find 10 entries so I wanna thanks Darthvadern for helping me doing that list.
I think Luigi Circuit GCN is failry place in the shell cup, until you realize baby park is on the banana cup, even though it's much easier, probably the easiest track in Mario Kart history. That's more a blaming on Baby Park so that's why it's on the list and not Luigi Circuit.
The most underwhelming way to and a Banana Cup, the type of cup that's more or less pretty awesome. Bland, short and easy. Should just switch place with Luigi Circuit.
Baby Park shouldn't have even been in MKDS. I think Nintendo should've used Mario Circuit (which was originally supposed to be in MKDS) instead.
I disagree on this one. The mud is very slippery and the jump pads send you off-road. Although I wouldn't mind switching it off with Koopa Beach seeing as Lightning Cups should be more epic than this
Simlarly to Baby Park, Choco Island 2 is too easy for thunder cup, and while Koopa Beach 2 is well place for the leaf cup I would gladly swap it with Choco Island 2.
Maybe if it was the same as Wii it would be good on thunder cup, but since they took out the electric shells in the water tube, it's not at it's place there, so I would swap it with Maple Treeway.
I find this track fairly placed. Mostly due to the atmosphere, but difficulty-wise it's a little too easy
This track was already pretty easy for a special cup track, but now that the controls are better, it doesn't even fit in the leaf cup. Just swap it with Sherbet Land N64.
Eh I really like this one's placing. Yeah it's easy, but the atmosphere fits so well the Leaf Cup, and the third course in it.
SNES Mario Circuit 2 is simple, but too simple for banana cup. GBA Bowser castle 1 is a good swap.

Agreed. Frappe Snowland was way harder but it's in the Banana Cup? Definitely should've had the tracks swapped.
I think Choco Mountain lacks danger to be in the leaf cup. Just swap it with Frappe Snowland.
This course shouldn't have been re-created at all. Its place in the Banana Cup is unfitting and should've been replaced by say Donut Plains 2 maybe?
This track is a bit too simple for banana cup, but it's not higher on the list because of the fact there is no course I could swap it with.
Other, than the desert setting, this course is way too easy for Leaf Cup material. It's just a loop with a train that passes by everynow and then. The fact that it was in the Mushroom Cup originally really proves how wrongly placed it is.
This is way wider than it was on the SNES, making the turns incredibly easy. So Lightning Cup is way too much of a stretch. Besides it's underwhelming, not a good thing for Lightning Cups.
Those troll jump pads halfway through the course are not material that should be in a Banana Cup of all places. Besides it's a Bowser Castle!
This one's deserving In my opinion.
It was already easy for the Special Cup, and retaining the same design and placing in Mario Kart Wii doesn't help either
They should've used Mario Circuit in MKDS and bring back Mushroom Bridge for the Wii, since the latter would've been so much better had they waited a few years to bring it back.
A Mario Circuit at the end of a LEAF cup? No thanks! Waluigi Stadium should've swapped place.
This is Banana Cup-worthy, like most MK8 predictions. Yet it's in the Lightning Cup.

I disagree here. This was the saving grace of MKDS's lightning cup, and it perfectly fits its placement in atmoshpere
sky garden was too easy for the lightning cup. They should have put it in the flower cup (and remove bowser castle 2) and put bowser castle 3 in the lightning cup
