Mario Kart items are complete game changers. They can cause complete chaos on the track but some items are completely obnoxious and are huge difference makers. Here I present the most obnoxious Mario Kart items
The spiny shell, commonly referred to as the blue shell, is a well-known power-up item of the Mario Kart series of video games. Obviously. It's meant to be obnoxious. But sometimes it's too obnoxious enough to make you quit or put the items into strategic mode.
I HATE this item. This is why being in first place is both a blessing AND a curse.
Most annoying thing ever it will always attack the person in 1st place like example
Me:Yea lap 3/3 Almost finished!
Blue shell comes out of nowhere and attack’s me
Me:WHAT?!?
Me:NOOO I WAS ABOUT TO FINISH AS 1ST PLACE AND I GOT 8TH PLACE COME ON
And that’s the point I got 8th place and that’s when I start to rage!
I clam down for a while and this somehow happens!
I quit playing this game!

Of course, riding high and mighty in first one moment, the next you’re staring up the track back in 8th place.
This can be a very obnoxious. It not only makes you smaller, you slow down and on top of that you lose your items.
Annoying layered on annoying with a side of annoying with annoying bottomless annoying fries.
Chain Chomps, known as Wanwan in Japan, are metal, barking ball-and-chain like creatures that are restrained by Chains and are a main enemy in the Mario franchise. This was a special item in double dash and it was basically a bullet Bill but way more obnoxious. It could actually cause you to fall on the harder tracks
This is similar to the lightning bolt but it only affects you and activates immediately. It makes you go faster and forces you to have to hit another player in like 5�"10 seconds or else you shrink
This is the reason why you quit Mario Kart when you obtain this item. It ruined Mario Kart for me.
This is pobably the worst item in the Mario Kart series. Plus, it never should have been added :/
You can literally just spam this for 10 whole seconds and easily get to first place.
While it doesn’t do anything to other players it’s still obnoxious because you can get as many mushrooms as you want which can actually be a bit of a problem on a harder course
It’s basically a giant green shell that bounces around like 20 times and can cause havoc on the track
It’s both obnoxious and annoying. Despite being easily avoidable it still causes you to lose speed and any items you were holding. Thank God it’s only been in Mario Kart Wii.
Every time I play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, I get hit by a lot of red shells.

Most overrated and unbalanced item in the game. You can get it in twelth place then use it in sixth and easily overlap everyone.
While not as obnoxious as the Chain Chomp it’s still capable of knocking racers out of its way and pushing you up several places

These can really be a problem if they start to overcrowd a certain area, especially on the shorter courses.
