Top 10 Super Mario Odyssey Enemies

This top 10 list is about enemies that debut in Super Mario Odyssey. The list is based on how unique they are. No bosses included.
The Top Ten
1 Gushen

Water is needed for this enemy. Without water, it is slow, weak and defenseless. With water, it is encased in it, becoming a shield. The Gushen can also attack by spraying gushes of water behind him. Not only it serves as attack, it is also used to travel fast and get to higher places. There are a lot of things Gushens can do with water, as long as they have enough of it.

2 Pokio

This is no ordinary bird. It's a bird that can't fly. But who needs wings when you have an impressive beak! First off, it can stretch its beak twice as far and attacks like a sword, piercing intruders quickly and painfully. They also can stick to walls, stretch back, and springs like a catapult! It can do this many times at once to reach great heights. This is one incredible bird!

Definitely my favourite new enemy! Climb walls and stuff. I love that! Sadly he is very rare.

3 Uproot

The Uproot is a plant with long, stretchy legs. With those legs, they can reach greater heights. They even have enough force to destroy blocks, nuts, and other things. If they are ever planted in a garden, they'll grow quickly!

4 Tropical Wiggler

Regular Wigglers are mad, but Tropical Wigglers are not. Instead Tropical Wigglers can stretch their bodies like an accordion to form a chain. Their stretched bodies they can turn to make complicated curves without losing a single segment. It can easily travel from pillar to pillar, all while avoiding danger below.

5 Sherm

This automatic tank fires with accuracy. It also has eyes so it can see where it's going and shooting. The bullets it shoots turn into confetti, but its still effective! This enemy is built for war!

6 Trapeetle

The Trapeetle may walk slowly, but if it catches prey, it'll charge very fast and explodes. This enemy is built for trapping prey with its hands.

7 Urban Stingby

Urban Stingbies start off as larvae. Once someone comes close, they'll hatch. Their appearance is more deadly than their regular Stingby cousins. When they see an intruder, they'll lock on to their target, and charge like kamikazes!

8 Bitefrost

The Bitefrost hides in the snow. Once you see its shadow, you can do two things: stand back, or use it to reach higher places. This enemy will rise like a tower and take a huge bite. If it misses, it'll return as a shadow.

9 Stairface Ogre

This strong guardian is committed to guarding entrances. If anyone comes near the Staircase Ogre, it'll approach you and attempt to crush you with a giant staircase mallet. However, its weak point is on the top and can be ground pounded.

10 Bowser Bowser is the main antagonist of the Mario Bros. Franchise. From kidnapping Princess Peach to simply destroying a fun game between Mario and Friends in the Mario Party spinoff series, this king of the Koopas has set up a certain hatred towards himself amongst the large cast of Mario Characters. He first appeared in the 1985 popular videogame, Super Mario Bros., in which he was responsible for kidnapping Princess Toadstool (more commonly known as Princess Peach), which was released in Arcades and on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) Videogame System.

They said NO bosses.

The Contenders
11 Chincho

Chinchos rise and walk like zombies. They can be defeated, but more and more will spawn. Their mummified bodies and star eyes prove that they are dangerous to approach.

How the hell did this mistake of mankind make the best list for new enemies?

12 Bullet Bill
13 Chain Chomp Chain Chomps, known as Wanwan in Japan, are metal, barking ball-and-chain like creatures that are restrained by Chains and are a main enemy in the Mario franchise.
14 Goomba Goombas, known in Japan as Kuribo, are a species of sentient mushrooms from Nintendo's Mario franchise.

I love just stacking endless goombas and finding goombette plus goombas are my favorite character

15 Cactus
16 Banzai Bill
17 Hammer Bros

The hammer bros have been annoying and are still annoying up to this day. And they come in fire form too.
