1 2018
2018 (MMXVIII) was a common year starting on Monday of the Gregorian calendar, the 2018th year of the Common Era (CE), the 9th year of the 2010s decade, the 18th year of the 21st century, and the 18th year of the 3rd millennium. NaFrovivuS died (RIP), the Infinity War thing happened (which I didn't know about when it was happening), and around July, users started deleting their accounts at an alarming rate (there were some major account deletions before that but July was when it really got going), first GreyRose, then lovefrombadlands, then ArielleBelle (Am I the only one who noticed? ), then mila34, then Maxwel, then BlazinWrath. At least some of those came back on new accounts.
This was the year I started paying a little more attention to the community and it started with the infinity war, when half the site left it because of a little angry man who didn't like them (exaggerated). Oh yes the kaire wars technically started in late 2018 as well.
2 2017
2017 (MMXVII) was a common year starting on Sunday of the Gregorian calendar, the 2017th year of the Common Era (CE) and Anno Domini (AD) designations, the 17th year of the 3rd millennium, the 17th year of the 21st century, and the 8th year of the 2010s decade. The great zootopia controversy, the great zootopia controversy, and the great zootopia controversy all happened this year, so it's no surprise this is at the top
Yes, I ruined summer for TheTopTens this year with my insane Zootopia hatred
3 2005
2005 was a common year starting on Saturday of the Gregorian calendar, the 2005th year of the Common Era and Anno Domini designations. It was the 6th year of the 2000s decade. How? It was the year the site was created
This year dose not belong to this list.
4 2019
2019 (MMXIX) was a common year starting on Tuesday of the Gregorian calendar, the 2019th year of the Common Era (CE) and Anno Domini (AD) designations, the 19th year of the 3rd millennium and the 21st century, and the 10th and last year of the 2010s decade. Seriously this year was a mess. The kaire wars during the first half were some of the most drama-filled moments in TTT history likely. The only good thing coming out of it was that the drama users left but that also led to TTT feeling dead. Although I was in my prime I must say.
Personally I came back in mid 2019 and I though it was great from there.
This year is just a big mess for TheTopTens.
Rustlers at their worst

It was heavily defined by the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to global social and economic disruption, mass cancellations and postponements of events, schools and many workplaces being closed for months, online school and work meetings, worldwide lockdowns and the largest economic recession since the Great Depression of the 1930s. It wasn't really that bad until December 19.

In addition, many pandemic restrictions from 2020 were lifted in 2021 leading to the reopening of many businesses and schools, people starting to get back to their normal lives, and mask mandates ending in some parts of the world.

19 2024
2024 (MMXXIV) is the current year, and is a leap year starting on Monday of the Gregorian calendar. It's the 2024th year of the Common Era (CE) and Anno Domini (AD) designations.
This is the 24th year of the 3rd millennium and the 21st century, and the 5th year of the 2020s decade. Deserve to be higher. 10 years ago was better and I need to be rescued from this hellhole of 2024 and saved by 2014.
