Top 10 Best WWE Hall of Fame Classes

The Top Ten
1 2013

Taking place in Madison Square Garden, the class included "The Hardcore Legend" Mick Foley, the greatest Women's champion in WWE history - no offense to The Fabulous Moolah - Trish Stratus, The six-time World Heavyweight Champion Booker T, Bob Backlund, Donald Trump - the first and so far only US president to be in the WWE Hall of Fame - and last but not least, the greatest WWE champion of all time, Bruno Sammartino, inducted in the same building he headlined more than any other superstar.

2 2009

Taking place in Texas, the event featured the induction of Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, "Cowboy" Bill Watts, the first ring announcer to be inducted, Howard Finkel, for whatever reason "The Bird Man" Koko B. Ware, and being in Texas, the induction of several Texas wrestlers: Terry and Dory Funk Jr., The Von Erich Family, and "The Texas Rattlesnake" Stone Cold Steve Austin.

3 2008

The class that saw the induction of the Brisco Bros., Mae Young, one of the best commentators in history, Gordon Solie, Eddie Graham, The Rock's father "Soulman" Rocky Johnson, and grandfather "High Chief" Peter Maivia, along with the 16 or 17 time World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair who probably had the longest acceptance speech, clocking in at nearly an hour and a half.

4 2005

The class featured a who's who of wrestling legends, including The Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff, "Cowboy" Bob Orton, "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff, "Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart, and last but not least "Hot Rod" Rowdy Roddy Piper and "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan before being removed. As a side note, all 7 members were involved in the very first WrestleMania.

Among them were Big John Studd, The Junkyard Dog, Don Muraco, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, Harley Race, Sgt. Slaughter, Tito Santana, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, Jesse "The Body" Ventura, "Superstar" Billy Graham, and the very first inductee into the celebrity wing, Pete Rose. Andy Kaufman should have been the first inductee into the celebrity wing, seeing as we wouldn't even have a celebrity wing in the first place without him.
