Top 10 Best WCW Wrestlers
From 1988 to 2001, WCW was the stage where wrestling legends were made, epic rivalries were born, and some of the most memorable moments in professional wrestling took place.
WCW was a major player in the wrestling scene, renowned for its intense competition with WWE (then WWF) during the infamous "Monday Night Wars". Born out of the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), WCW quickly gained popularity with its unique blend of storylines, characters, and, of course, top-tier wrestling talent. From the iconic Starrcade events to the groundbreaking Cruiserweight division, WCW was a trailblazer in many ways.
Who can forget the dominant reign of the nWo, or the electrifying bouts of Sting, Goldberg, and Ric Flair? These were the athletes and entertainers who brought the heat to the WCW ring, captivating audiences worldwide with their charisma, athleticism, and sheer determination.
This list is a homage to those amazing athletes: the wrestlers who thrilled, shocked, and delighted us in equal measure. From technical wizards to charismatic showmen, from ruthless villains to beloved heroes, they represented the diverse and vibrant world of WCW.
So, who do you think are the best WCW wrestlers? Maybe you're a fan of Diamond Dallas Page's self-high-five or Booker T's scissor kick. Or perhaps you're a supporter of the high-flying Rey Mysterio or the unstoppable force that was Goldberg. It's time for you to step into the voting ring and decide who deserves the championship belt of 'Best WCW Wrestler'.

Flair carried the NWA for about seven years before it became WCW. Even after the change, he was one of the top 3 or 4 performers for another 7 or 8 years. Whenever WCW tried to sideline him, they always had to come back because he could generate excitement like only a few others could. I personally credit Flair with bridging the days of small armories to the big arenas we have today.

Randy Savage will always be my favorite wrestler. He wasn't at his peak in WCW, but he was still one of the most entertaining on the entire roster. His mic skills were among the best, his outfits were always eye-catching, and even in the ring, he was impressive until his knee injury late in the N.W.O./Wolfpac era. The diving double axe handle from the top of the cell at Halloween Havoc 1997 was wild! In my opinion, he deserves a better spot than 19.
