From 1988 to 2001, WCW was the stage where wrestling legends were made, epic rivalries were born, and some of the most memorable moments in professional wrestling took place.

WCW was a major player in the wrestling scene, renowned for its intense competition with WWE (then WWF) during the infamous "Monday Night Wars". Born out of the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), WCW quickly gained popularity with its unique blend of storylines, characters, and, of course, top-tier wrestling talent. From the iconic Starrcade events to the groundbreaking Cruiserweight division, WCW was a trailblazer in many ways.

The Top Ten
1 Sting Steve Borden, better known by the ring name Sting, is an American retired professional wrestler, actor, author and former bodybuilder.

He was with World Championship Wrestling from the beginning to the end. Even to this day, he never gave in to WWE. He stuck with WCW until the very end.

Greatest wrestler of all time! Period! He was the biggest star of the '90s and the most popular wrestler, according to PWI.

Sting is undoubtedly the best WCW fighter of all time. His moves, like the Stinger Splash and Scorpion Deathlock, were iconic.

2 Bill Goldberg William Scott "Bill" Goldberg is an American actor, former professional football player, and semi-retired professional wrestler.

Goldberg is "the man." He's the best in the world, always giving 101%. It's hard to match Goldberg's level, and he's truly the greatest wrestler ever. AZed

He is the true alpha male in the ring, and his entrance song is one of the best.

Strength and in-ring ability, speed, and experience as a football player.

3 Ric Flair Richard Morgan "Ric" Fliehr, better known by his ring name Ric Flair, is a professional wrestling manager and American retired professional wrestler currently signed to the WWE under a legends appearance contract.

Flair carried the NWA for about seven years before it became WCW. Even after the change, he was one of the top 3 or 4 performers for another 7 or 8 years. Whenever WCW tried to sideline him, they always had to come back because he could generate excitement like only a few others could. I personally credit Flair with bridging the days of small armories to the big arenas we have today.

4 Diamond Dallas Page Dallas Page, better known by his ring name Diamond Dallas Page, is an American semi-retired professional wrestler, fitness instructor, motivational speaker and actor.

Bada boom, bada bing, bada bang! I'm not sure what that means, but Diamond Dallas Page is one of the greatest wrestlers in WCW history.

7 Booker T Booker Huffman Jr., better known by his ring name Booker T, is an American professional wrestler, promoter, and color commentator who is currently signed with WWE as part of the pre-show team on Raw.

Booker T is very underrated. He is one of the most decorated WWE/WCW wrestlers ever. As a five-time WCW champion, he deserves more respect.

Best ever. An awesome wrestler and killer promo.

17 Randy Savage Randy Mario Poffo, better known by his ring name "Macho Man" Randy Savage, was an American professional wrestler and color commentator best known for his time in the World Wrestling Federation and later the World Championship Wrestling.

Randy Savage will always be my favorite wrestler. He wasn't at his peak in WCW, but he was still one of the most entertaining on the entire roster. His mic skills were among the best, his outfits were always eye-catching, and even in the ring, he was impressive until his knee injury late in the N.W.O./Wolfpac era. The diving double axe handle from the top of the cell at Halloween Havoc 1997 was wild! In my opinion, he deserves a better spot than 19.

18 Lex Luger Lawrence Wendell "Larry" Pfohl better known by his ring name, Lex Luger, is an American retired professional wrestler, television producer and football player currently working with WWE on their wellness policy.

He had the greatest physique in WCW and an awesome Torture Rack finisher. My favorite match of his was against Bret Hart for the title, which he won!
