Richard Morgan "Ric" Fliehr, better known by his ring name Ric Flair, is a professional wrestling manager and American retired professional wrestler currently signed to the WWE under a legends appearance contract. Flair carried the NWA for around seven years before it was renamed WCW. Even after the change, he was one of the top 3 or 4 performers for another 7 or 8 years. When WCW tried to push him aside, they always kept coming back to him because he gave them a pop that only a handful of wrestlers could achieve. I personally give Flair the most credit, for bridging the days of small armories to the big arenas we see today.
