1 Hulk Hogan Terry Gene Bollea, better known by his ring name Hulk Hogan, is an American professional wrestler, actor, television personality, entrepreneur and rock bassist.

Hulk Hogan was everywhere when he was the W W F Champion. He feuded with Zeus on No Holds Barred, but more important he was on covers of many major magazines, and when TV Guide published the best of the 1980s issue, HE was on the cover. When Sports Illustrated did an article on Pro Wrestling in April, 1985, HE was on the cover too. As of 2021, and it appears not to change, he became the ONLY World Wrestling Federation star to appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated. He did ran wild.

Bret Hart was more known in the 90's, then in the 80's. This decade was just him tag teaming with the hart foundation for the most part. It was not until the end of 1989 he started to get a singles pushed, which carried onto the 90's.

Sure The Iron Sheik was evil, but during the 1980s he was one great wrestler, whose famous for his lifting Persian clubs, even in his 70s he was still using it regularly. His Persian club lifting became legendary, so was the championships, The WWE Championship (once), The WWE World Tag Team Championship (Once). Even outside the WWE, he won the Georgia 's NWA World Television Championship (Once), was the 1980 Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Underrated Wrestler of the Year, and in retirement induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in the Class of 2005.

His 1989 Crowning of the Intercontinental title was questioned, but he had the muscle to defeat Terry Daniels more than once, and with Bobby "the Brain" Heenan they took on Rude's greatest rival Jake The Snake Roberts in one of pro wrestling's hottest feuds of 1988.
