Top 10 Best Anime Ending Songs
There's an anime opening list, here's an anime ending list. Enjoy.I don't really think that anyone was particularly surprised when we learned that Lelouch was dying on purpose because there were a number of hints. But it was still unbelievably shocking. Just how, and why, and wondering if the Zero Requiem was intended all along... It hit all watchers extremely hard.
If a story is to be truly great, it needs a good start, a strong middle, and a great ending. If one is lacking any of these, it cannot reach the top. This series has one of the strongest endings in anime history. Anyone that watches it and gets invested in the characters will find the ending to be unfathomably beautiful.
WatchMojo.com was right to have put Magia as number 1 on their Top 10 Anime Ending Themes video. It truly does suit the darkness and tragedy that is Puella Magi Madoka Magica, especially since the song is sung by Kalafina, the same vocal group who sung the second opening of Fate/Zero!
Very much deserves the love, attention, and number 1 spot. An absolutely epic ending in every sense of the word. I love this song and listen to it constantly.
So good! I usually skip the ending of animes, but every time Magia started, I would watch it from start to finish!
I started crying and laughing when I finished watching Hunter x Hunter. Please, anyone who hasn't watched Hunter x Hunter, do so. If you don't like it at first, just watch the first 10 episodes. You won't be able to stop, I promise.
An epic ending for an epic season of an epic anime. That's three whole epics!
Just incredible. Has there ever been another ending with over six different variations of it, all fan-made?
The music is catchy, the lyrics are so heartwarming, the characters look absolutely fantastic, and the visuals are amazing. The only thing missing is an OVA based on this ending.
I need an OVA or a movie featuring class 1A in this fantasy world.
Please make this higher! This song is so beautiful and has so much meaning between the characters and their development. And it's just one big middle finger to Akutagawa.
The Newcomers
This is an anime where the endings are just as good as the openings.
Yeah, I agree with solacress, the best ending can make people cry. Probably not higher on the list because most people haven't watched up to here on Hunter x Hunter.
One of the best ending themes, this honestly should be higher than most of these.
I love this cover so much, and the fact that it isn't in the Netflix release is a crime against humanity.
I usually skip the endings, but this is good.
Absolutely amazing! The first anime ending song I didn't skip.
Best. Ending. Ever. It was so well done, from the music used to the colors used in the episode. The most emotional moment was when Light ran past his former self when he first gained the Death Note in the first episode, and seeing how it led him ultimately to his self-destruction.
Even though it differs from the ending shown in the manga (which is also amazing), I found it more emotional with the ending credits depicting Misa possibly on the verge of committing suicide. And the last thing Light sees is L. Amazing to the core.
It's such a touching song! The singer has a soft and gentle voice that can soothe anyone's day!
In my opinion, it's the best anime ending song of all time.
