Anime storytelling is different from books,movies etc,it has it's own feel,it's totally unique.

Just take a look at the openings and ending themes! They completely fit storyline,not all of them are epic but most of them are quite well-made.

Most anime characters have such dept that you can't help but connect with them. They have flaws which makes them more human and interesting.

Unlike what most people think,anime is not genre but it's a medium with lots of different genres which means you can find,at least, one anime that appeals to you. Just choose your favorite genre,take a look at recommendations,choose one,Enjoy!
