Top Ten Seasons in the Pretty Cure Franchise with the Best Opening Themes

This is a PreCure list dealing primarily with the opening themes of the seasons. As in, the theme song that plays after the first few minutes of an episode of a season.
The Top Ten
Star Twinkle PreCure

Melodically speaking, Star Twinkle's opening is my favorite. It's already happy from the beginning and, while not as spacey as the season itself, it is just lots of fun. And for a season that's often criticized by the fanbase overall, it's really not that bad of a season with an opener like this.

Doki Doki Pretty Cure

Yet another season that is often polarizing for what happens during it has one of my favorite themes. I think this particular season's opening theme is underrated, actually. The synth in the main theme adds a lot of flair, and it gets happy and lucky the moment it begins too.

Tropical-Rouge! Pretty Cure

Appropriately, this particular opening has a delightful tropical Caribbean theme to it, with the proper instrumentation from those areas to fit in well. It's happy all the way through and is more dance-oriented than musically oriented.

Futari wa Pretty Cure Max Heart

Of course, the classic season has an incredibly memorable action-oriented theme to its opener. The Max Heart version is slightly better than the original in my view, due to the subtle additions in it.

Mahou Tsukai Pretty Cure!

This season's theme is the oddball, but in a good way. The theme almost sounds Halloween-like, which makes sense due to the prevalence of enchantments, magic, and witches. I didn't like it at first, but it really grows on you.

Go! Princess PreCure

The main theme here certainly goes for the orchestration, seeing as how violin-playing is a trait that gets picked up during the season. Overall, it fits very well with the season as a whole and is very girly too.

Futari wa Pretty Cure Splash Star

An incredibly underrated opening theme for the season. When you hear this for the first time while seeing some characters that are different from the originals, you really start to wonder why they went with a new generation of Cures. But this theme is still fantastic because of the beat-pounding instrumentation and happy sound.

HeartCatch PreCure Heartcatch Precure is a Japanese anime series and the seventh series of the Pretty Cure anime franchise by Izumi Todo that premiered on February 7, 2010, replacing Fresh Pretty Cure! on its initial timeslot. The series theme is flowers, which leads to their true definitions of Hanakotoba as of the season's... read more

The only thing that disappoints me about Fresh PreCure, my favorite season, is its opening theme, so it's not on here. With HeartCatch's theme, things pick up well with a pop-like tune that actually fits well for a magical girl show.

Suite PreCure

Strange that I have the musically-oriented season's theme down here, but it's not a bad one. The "las" in the beginning drive the point home that this is a musically-oriented season, and it works so well. It's also the one theme out of all these that I think went through the most changes, adding more pop beats to all the instrumentation the further you go through the season.

Yes! PreCure 5

I'll round this out with the original Yes! PreCure 5's theme. This one is not bad. It gets to the swing of things and does things in fives to show you that yes, there'll be five Cures present here. There's a small melody that gets reused and remixed in a few episodes' slow moments too.

Hirogaru Sky! PreCure
Yes! PreCure 5 GoGo!
HappinessCharge PreCure!
Smile PreCure!

Oh my god, my childhood! Anime is good, but Pretty Cure is better!

Delicious Party PreCure

Alright, this one's warming up to me. It has a great hook and a good catch. I might re-remix this list to put it into the top 10.
