Top Ten Minecraft Blocks
Who says diamond block when you spend 9 diamonds to get one block that some troll breaks with -=AN IRON=- pickaxe. When of course with the command block you just type '/clear @p', add a pressure plate above it, and then get another that says '/set gamemode 2 @p' right next to the other and BOOM! The troll can't break your diamond block.
These blocks are the most powerful. Seriously. They are as strong as bedrock and can do anything, like allow you to be able to kill the wither one hit with your fist. I have no idea why anyone thinks that though other blocks are stronger/better.
I built my house out of diamond. My sister's is out of emeralds. My friend's older bro's house is gold. My friend's little bro's house is out of quartz.
Actually, it's good for crafting diamond for crafting a diamond sword.
Awesome also valuable. Shows off how rich you are!
I love blowing stuff up especially in creative mode when I need to get rid of something.
I love TNT because I love exploding everything and even blow my sister's house.
Fun to mess around with definitely deserves no.2
Can help craft awesome stuff like an enchantment table and nether portal, and is so blast resistant.
This is my favourite block of all time, it's much stronger than a diamond block and can be made into a nether portal. Jack
It does not look weird and TNT can't blow it up. The only thing that can are blue wither skulls.
I have three. Always kept separately and at least one in secret at all times, in case my siblings try to destroy my empire.
It's makes armor weapons and fishing rods and other things stronger
If we did not have enchanted armor and things like that, we would not be protected enough
Honestly, wood is the MOST essential block in minecraft, you use it for many simple things like creating a crafting bench, making planks, and building your house. You also use it for things like making charcoal, making your own trees, and of course decoration. Hands down my FAVOURITE block.
How do you beat Minecraft without wood? It should be number 1 because you can beat Minecraft without command blocks, you done need diamonds to win and you certantly don't need tnt to win. 5 and 6 are blocks to that you need
OMG. Seriously?
Beacons are the worst items in existence. There's no such thing as a good beacon, because its costs so much that you could never get a fully-charged beacon in survival.
First, you need three diamonds to get the obsidian it needed (only a diamond pickaxe can break obsidian), and enough luck to find a Nether fortress thus kill enough wither skeletons to get three wither skulls. Then you need to risk your life more than ten times to kill the Wither and get the Nether star. You'll need at least 81 iron ingots (iron's the cheapest for the build-up of a beacon) to create a build-up stand for the beacon, and you'll need 3867 iron ingots to create fully-charged beacon. Are you really willing to risk so much iron (sixty and a half stacks) just t create ONE beacon? Furthermore, the beacon's ranged. So if you leave its radius, all your sixty stacks of iron's going to serve no use. Unless you're in creative and making some decor, beacons are almost as useless as rotten flesh in survival. I'd stick to potions, thanks.
Dirt is the greatest block in Minecraft. It supports most forms of life, wood, grass, trees, animals, mycelium, etc. If dirt did not exist, searching for food would be much harder, and the player would be nearly unable to move on from basic survival.
It may sound noobish, but dirt is a realistic and important block in its own way. Without dirt, what would the ground be made out of? Stone? That wouldn't look right. Would flowers grow? Nooo. No grass, thereby no animals cause animals need grass. Sheep's wool would never grow back, cause there teeth would break if they tried to munch stone. Therefore, dirt is important in its own way.

They look nice for modern theme, especially labs, walls and vaults. My vault is made out of iron.
I love iron since how easy it is to find and easy to mine and how good it is
ITS AWESOME!
Iron is strong and shiny
It shines better than diamond
No one understands me...
Without crafting tables, you would just aimlessly walk about, not collecting anything because you wouldn't have a pick axe. Therefore all you would do go random places, just getting gravel, sand, and dirt.
If we did not have a crafting table, We would not get pickaxes, hoes, and a crafting table!
This is the centre of Minecraft... You can't do anything without it
A really good building material, if you think diamond houses are awesome, you probably got an F in arts.
Great for building a structure for your first night. Plus easy to craft
A unique trophy included in the game after defeating the "final boss" the ender dragon. I personally like to use them as lamp foundations, wish they were included in the creative inventory though instead of having to travel to the end to retrieve it every time you create a new world.
I know how to make more than one dragon egg per world. step 1: go to the end. step 2: kill the ender dragon. step 3: go into creative mode and go to the portal that leads to the overworld but DON'T go in it. step 4: use the "Copy Touch" ability on the dragon egg (click the egg with the mouse wheel and make sure you have space in your inventory) then the egg will be in your inventory. step 5: create as many ender dragon eggs as you want!
One of the worst blocks for building ever. Just plain ugly!
This is a terrible block
It's only used for decoration!
The squid stole skydoesminecraft block of... BUTTER! It's like real liife
I built a whole farm just to make cake and I'm making a pillow factory to and I'm able to make like over 16 cakes this has awesomeness written all over it!
This restores a 14 food points! Useful!
So many Stampy fanboys here. I don't know why. The only use for this is redstone.
Unlike other blocks which usually, when you find one, you find a lot of them, emerald only occurs by itself on most occasions therefore it is by far the rarest.
Good for villagers because they like emeralds. But I don't know why...
Without this block when your mining in a hole and you mine 1 stone and you just fall in the void.
No one can mine it! Perfect for bases!
Anvils are useful because you can actually have a use for (enchanted) books, and, while they are expensive, they are also very useful.
Me too! You can name anything with it! BOOM!
Its used for traps and naming and enchanting armor and tools with books
THE most important block in Minecraft. Without it, you would instantly suffocate when generating a world.
What would the world look like without air?
It's very beautiful and refined. It really helps when making smooth builds like eyes or a checkered pattern.
Much more simple then wool, yet much more beautiful.
Classy. Base block for modern builds, very classy, refined, plain (wool has too much pixels) and useful. Anything modern? Quartz!
Quartz is my favourite block in the game. I love the beautiful marble-like texture of it.
Has the most different variations in shape of any block, being able to create full blocks, stairs, slabs, walls, and fences. Unfortunately it doesn't have a fence gate. Not to mention red nether bricks as well.
A wonderful "building material": meaning you can make slabs and stairs out of this great material, too!
Cobblestone is cheap, renewable, useful, blast resistant, flame resistant, and pretty-able all at the same time! What's not to love?
Great for building homes and even entire villages also makes pretty durable tools!
Good for building and crafting.
Great Building block, It is so smooth and comes in a variety of colors, goes great with almost any build!
Especially with cyan stained clay. It is so great for modern themes.
Simply pretty and ruby red making a grand mansion and electricity source
