Best Picks from Day 2 of the 2019 NFL Draft
After a very questionable day 1 decision Tom Coughlin stays to his guns again, and instead picks a very reasonable best player available in Jawaan Taylor who many believed was a top 10 player in this draft somehow Jacksonville came away with two top 10 players in this draft that will be interesting look back at for sure.
I'm really digging with Buffalo Drafting philosophy and seeing they needed to give Josh Allen some serious help on the protection lines Ford falling to them perfect match settled.
The Titans came away with the best receiver in this draft, and I ain't kidding you when I say that. I had him falling to the Colts, but hey I got somewhat close and he fell to the Titans instead. No excuses for Mariota as to who your #'s 1, and 2 are gonna be in 2019 Corey Davis, and now A.J. Brown.
Absolute steal
A year ago, following the 2018 draft, Little was the consensus top pick of the 2019 draft. How quickly fortunes can change. He's been picked apart for a year to where he wasn't even the top ranked offensive tackle prospect, much less the top OL He was also a former number 1 overall recruit. So the Panthers may have gotten a steal here. In any case, he can't be as bad as Matt Kalil, the $11 million a year free agent bust Carolina had to endure at LT the past few years.
Speaking of very similar teams Cam Newton is just getting banged and battered up as years go on, and Carolina needed to find that big tackle on the line to protect his blind side and Greg Little was well wroth the choice sitting there for the taking.
You know its sad your best pick in this draft is a center, but frankly its what Aaron Rodgers desperately needed with a busted up offensive line.
Chances are, he will play guard or maybe even tackle. He can play all five positions on the offensive line, which I really like.
This makes plenty of sense why Saints had to trade up Max Unger is gone, and now they must get a rookie center in Eric McCoy that's about right where he fell.
I like the name already, but yet again Byron Murphy was a top 3 corner, and it looks like he could be either the replacement for Patrick Peterson or playing side by side with him. Meanwhile Colts did it again folks getting help on the defensive side of the football with their first pick being Ya-Sin sounds mysterious and fits that defense combined the intangibles.
With Tyreek Hill now being in detainment mode that would mean the Chiefs have to find his replacement, and Hardman has that capability to launch like a rocket like, but not quite the dominator as shown.
This is what I feel one of the better corners in this draft and hailing at 6'4 Emperor Palpatine scored big again.
Maybe not be exactly like Saqoun by any means, but hey Miles shown some pretty great flashes, and has a comparison to Le'Veon Bell as a patience back the only concern I have is his not that fast on tape provided.
I'm surprised this pick isn't up there. Steal for the Broncos.
