Top 10 Darkest South Park Episodes

For this list we will be looking at the top darkest South Park episodes and yeah to say this show has dark episodes is a huge understatement as nearly every episode could be considered dark.
The Top Ten
1 Scott Tenorman Must Die

I actually watched this episode on the Paramount+ website, and I was laughing throughout the whole episode. What was wrong with me? There's nothing funny about watching a high-schooler break down in tears because their elementary school half-brother grounded up their parents into chili.

Long story short Cartman is duped out of his money by Scott Tenorman and Cartman retaliates by having Scott's parents killed then ground up into chili and fed to him all while Cartman gloats in his victory.

2 The Return of Chef

It's mostly pretty dark because of the way Chef dies, and how the Super Adventure Club goes around the world molesting children.

3 Britney's New Look

It's disturbing, dark is just an understatement. Britney shoots herself off, but she miraculously survives it, and the only sound she can make is this disturbing gurgling sound.

4 Butter's Very Own Episode

Egnomac, I think you mean Linda had a mental breakdown, per se. This is another episode I saw on the Paramount+ website, and it was arguably dark when Linda tried to hang herself, but thankfully, Butters and Stephen try to stop her from hanging herself. Still dark though despite the comedy about the gay porno and bathhouse, due to what I just said earlier.

Butter's mom asks him to spy on his father and when Butter's shows he he's been secretly going to a gay porno theater and a gay bathhouse which leaves Mrs. Stotch so appalled that she has a nervous breakdown and tries to drown Butters by leaving him in the car and driving into the river then attempts to hang herself luckily Butters survives his attempted murder as his parents attempt to cover up his murder.

5 Woodland Critter Christmas

The blood orgy. Ho boy, the blood orgy. Just see it for yourself on Youtube, it's self-explanatory in how dark that moment would be like your classic, run-of-the-mill South Park episode gone dark.

6 Your Getting Old
7 Kenny Dies

Not sure if it's referring to the episode or the running gag, but it's disturbing how the death curse swallows Kenny up like a shark.

8 The Poor Kid
9 Cartman Sucks
10 HumancentiPad

I could agree with you why it'd be your least favorite episode. It's mostly because of the scene where a man defecates, and it travels mouth to mouth. Thank GOD it was all covered up by the wedgie.

The Contenders
11 Cartoon Wars
12 The Jeffersons

While the episode completely rips on Michael Jackson who appears in the episode under a new name Michael Jefferson the episode is a lot more focused on his kid Blanket who is constantly neglected by his dad who is more focused on being a kid then be an actual father to him.

13 Put It Down

It's dark because of the political themes, and most important of all, the scene where a dad and mom crash into a buck-tooth kid.

14 Cartman Joins NAMBLA

This episode explores the topic of the actual organization NAMBLA, and boy, is it WEIRD! But, then again, it's self-explanatory why it's dark; old men doing creepy things to children.
