Top Ten TheTopTens-Related New Year's Resolutions for 2019

2019 is just around the corner. Because every new year's resolution list ends up the same, why not continue to spread my far-too-positive ideas?
The Top Ten
1 To make higher quality lists

I'm trying my best to keep this from being ironic.

I agree on this. That would be SO cutting edge.

2 To not attack users

I'm not going to be in the site that much when I come back because I don't give a qubit about this site, only my mission upon the good. I don't have time for debates if I'm lying, I just want to prove that I'm worthy to reform. Say what you want, I won't bother of replying by spamming, and that goes for all of the users of this site, not you Cyri. And you'll see if I lie about spamming on somebody's list, heck, I could keep a decent silent treatment. I did it to Ashes it is so that I can re-explain my reply
to Reasonating of what I truly meant.Turns out to be a complete waste of time. Not my fault, if she can't read and bother of replying to me in the first place.- Kevinsidis

This was a serious problem in 2018. People, don't just carry out attacks because you dislike a user. It's going to be better for not just them, but you.

Yeah, especially the ones that do politics, it was a big problem back in '18 for me, but I will fix it

That's gonna be real hard for me to do, since I'm pretty aggressive towards some users on here. - IceFoxPlayz

3 To make a high quality post

No offense, but I'm getting tired of one-sentence posts that can easily be made into a comment.

Just put an essay post?

4 To get at least a hundred member score points

I'm feeling trapped at 148 at the moment. This one will be hard for me. For some of you, though, it will be a piece of cake.

I have managed to get close to that this year, but I'd hope to pick up at a better pace in the future.

Mine was rapidly rising but then I got lazy

Mine is raising

5 To keep away from wars

Hmm. I see. I was a complete jerk, hypocrite, and much of a sandbag since 5 months ago. After August my bloody feud with Jeff is over because I don't want to experience pain and then, I started to be nice to him and told toward to him that I started to like him because of his pessimism( it takes many worthy reputations of many users including me, but not him...) Has made him see a darker shade of the globe every day and I don't have any negative thoughts about Jeff at all. I really regret my past behavior when I got suspended and all the users know what I did all the things was so utterly horrible that I just want to forget all the tainted things that have happened in the past after I got suspended for this 3rd time. At least that our response battle has lasted a short period of time. She literally just reply to me on my comment "That's not what I meant", which that's a reply to Reasonating(Retired). It just got ugly because she got angry after I assume she was you and I was about to ...more

If it isn't directly affecting you, stay out of it. If it is involving you, get out of the conflict. I know I sound like a school counselor, but you're not doing the site any favors by getting into a fight. Remember Pugs vs. Gen 18? It was a disaster, from what I've read.

6 To make meaningful comments

Look directly above this entry (it's currently at #5). I supported the entry. If you dislike an entry, argue against it with reason.

7 To be unique

Not everyone can be the metalhead or anime lover. I'd like to compliment B1ueNew and isaaonrtdmtr in particular here.

8 To be aware of your flaws

This goes for not just the site, but everything. I know that I can come off as narcissistic and precocious. To be fair, I am a bit of the latter. But I aim to fix that. I hope that everyone here can make similar improvements to character or specific flaws in quality.

If you don't have flaws you'll be a Mary Sue, and no one likes that.

I'm very aware of my flaws

Nobody's perfect.

9 To know when criticism becomes an attack

Constructive criticism is a great thing. Now, I'm aware that some of you do this. However, many of you don't know the difference.

10 To not attack something simply because it's popular

This had become a thing. If you don't like Fortnite, for example, don't say you hate it because "everyone plays it." Have a reason. I, for example, think it looks kind of boring. Some people might dislike it because of how many people might get mad if they use a bad character skin (is this correct? In my school, this happens, but anywhere else? )

The Contenders
11 To not treat opinions as facts

Opinions are opinions. People should know that.

Yeah a lot of users need to work on this

Get this to #1 immediately

12 To not feed trolls

Otherwise you will fuel the fire.

13 Retire / delete account

I'm not going to. ResonatingScreamS would get what she wants with every one of my account deletions.

Never in a million years.

14 To make New Year's celebrations more fun
15 To give advice to others
16 To actually be funny

I feel this is specifically targeted towards me.

17 To be more active
18 Do not feed trolls

Okay. I'll take a few user's burgers.
