Worst Wrestlemania Matches
Listen, who wanted this matchup anyway? And why did Cole even get put into an announcer's position instead of just doing interviews?
These two should be doing commentator duties rather than embarrassing their unholy selves in the ring.
The live crowd reaction speaks for itself, not to mention the chants demanding the match to end.
What should have been a great match turned into a complete suckfest. Word got out that both superstars would be leaving WWE. Throughout the match, chants of "you sold out" echoed throughout the arena. As a matter of fact, the only good thing was when Stone Cold gave the stunner to both competitors as they left.
Disappointed in the match. Both got booed by the crowd at MSG.
So sad that the buildup was awesome, yet the match was such a train wreck! I ordered the event on PPV, thinking this match would be as awesome as Vince McMahon's other matches. I was wrong.
Maybe if this had taken place a few years earlier, it could have been a little bit better.
Very disturbing to watch this match. This match should have been at WrestleMania 22.
I have to go with this one because it was just bad! Not to mention it was a very bad WrestleMania. Yokozuna beats Bret, Hulk Hogan comes out for what? Then he wins the belt with misplaced salt to the eye and a leg drop. Giant Gonzalez was just an epic fail. He couldn't bump and had zero charisma. The Undertaker had to make him look good.
This was worse than the Big Boss Man one, although I love The Undertaker.
What really made this stupid was that it was the main event. The Rock really saved this one.
Why did this happen, especially when Randy Orton, who had huge matches at Mania from Taker at 21, Triple H at 25, Punk at 27, Kane at 28, Rollins at 31, and won the WWE Championship at the previous WrestleMania, was reduced to a mid-card belt wrestling Jinder Mahal and two jobbers?
Perhaps the worst match finish in WrestleMania history.
All the other ones are classics, except for the Cole vs. Lawler one.
The Newcomers
This match was too short.
However, I wouldn't have minded if it hadn't been teased so much. These two are some of the greatest superstars in history, and they only had 2 or 3 matches.
How is this not here? This was horrible.
Guys, don't be so hard on it... Be extremely hard! Come on, 97,000 of these folks came to see such a disappointing WrestleMania.
I mean, come on, the giant just gave a punch, Hogan came down, and a body slam and a leg drop followed. Even WCW could have done better. Bad, bad - Hulkster didn't do this one well.
This was more of a one-and-a-half-on-one handicap match. Booker T did all the fighting. Sharmell tried to attack The Boogeyman with the staff and ended up getting kissed by The Boogeyman, with worms in her mouth. It was disgusting.
Boogeyman should have been given a push.
Very boring match with a very crap finish.
