Top 10 Tennessee Titans All Time Draft Busts

For the most part the Titans have been very successful at making first round selections. Here are ten selections, however, that didn’t go over so well for the Nashville based franchise.
The Top Ten
1 Jake Locker

''Say what you want about Vince Young, but he won 30 games as a starter and played five seasons. Locker was a reach at No. 8, and he couldn't stay healthy. He's already out of the league. I couldn't believe he feel that high in 2011 is insane to me he was not a first rounder at all, but he needed time to develop fast which he couldn't do right away from day, and injuries put em outta his misery.

One of the most underrated draft busts in regards to how awful this guy really was. How he was drafted that high is beyond me!

2 Adam Pacman Jones

''Jones had many run-ins with the police and saw several suspensions. When he was on the field, he played well, but not sixth-overall-selection well, and even so, he missed all of 2007 and part of 2008 due to off-the-field behavior.'' He was never a contributor in Tennessee, but was more less a good free agent pickup for Cincy for many years.

Terrible person, but a decent cornerback

3 Vince Young Vincent Paul Young, Jr. is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League for six seasons.

''Sure, Young had some good times. In fact, he had some box office moments that put the Titans in the national spotlight. However, those times don't outweigh all of the headaches that he caused.

Those headaches eventually ran head coach Jeff Fisher out of town, and the Titans haven't enjoyed any real success sense.'' hard to believe Young a guy with one of the greatest bowls games of all time went to the Titans to be nothing more than a silent mental case to Jeff Fisher.

4 Dean Steinkuhler

Dean was basically a bench warmer all of his career as Oiler thus strangely never getting a shining chance to prove himself thus wasted opportunity.

5 Kevin Dyson

I'm sorry Dyson is not greater than Randy Moss, and he was literally the first Wide Receiver off the board that year that's crazy to me, and if he had given moss that call the Titans would of been the ones who beat the Rams that would of been an altering change now wouldn't?

6 Chance Warmack

''Munchak was coming into the 2013 season on a hot seat, and the Titans needed an impact player with their 10th overall selection. As Warmack proved, a right guard is not an impact player.
To make matters worse, Warmack didn't even play guard well. He struggled as a pass-blocker all season and made numerous mental mistakes. He was, at best, the fourth-best guard from his draft class, despite being the second off the board and the highest selected in over a decade.'' In a class filled with really terrible offensive lineman.

7 Kendall Wright Kendall Wright is an American football wide receiver for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League.

Take your pick on what receiver was more inconsistent because Wright is just slightly more than Britt is, but they are basically the same player in the offensive scheme how is that possible two below average receiver really don't help Jake Locker much now don't it?

8 Kenny Britt

''A combination of injuries and off-the-field issues makes Kenny Britt one of the worst picks not a big bust, but one for the Titans that was never able to stay consistent enough. It's unfortunate, because he had the talent to be one of the better picks for the Titans after being taken 30th overall in 2009.''

9 Andre Woolfolk

''Woolfolk, whose career was just as insignificant. Woolfolk was out of the league in just four years, but what makes his selection so bad was how good the cornerback class was that year.'' 2003 was a pretty good year to find a good secondary defensive back, but they just got a wrong pick in the ax in this case.

10 Isaiah Wilson

Wilson lasted one season in Tennessee, playing four snaps in one game.

The Contenders
11 Lamar Lathon

My 10th pick was really difficult to narrow it down to, but Lathon was not the type of defensive player he was going to be until going to Carolina he was more consistent where with Tennessee he had his final year be his best year while struggling all through the end of that beginning to mid 90's portion of his career.
