Nicknamed "The General", Domazos had a long career with Panathinaikos becoming the recordman with the most top division games (535 between 1959-1980).
A real leader, he played for Panathinaikos at 1971 European Cup Final.
Domazos was one of the final torchbearers for the Opening Ceremony of the 2004 Athens Olympic Games.

12 Mimis Papaioannou

Dimitris "Mimis" Papaioannou was one of the star football players of AEK Athens FC. He played as an inside forward, a total of 480 top division games scored 234 goals which was a record. He was caped 61 times and netted 21 goals (also a record). In 1980, Papaioannou left Greece to continue his career at N.Y. Pancyprian-Freedoms, as a player-coach for three years.
IFFHS awarded him as best Greek football player of the 20th century, based on his statistics.
