Omega
My favourite watch brand of all time and beats Rolex by a long shot. Sorry, Rolex, but you have met your match in the watch world.
This watch logo is extremely famous worldwide, and its amazing reputation precedes it greatly.
Bond's watch. Enough said.

Patek Philippe
Luxury watches for people who care about watches. A Nautilus is the best watch in the world that very few things can compete with.
Patek Philippe Nautilus is just amazing, not too flashy.
Best in the world.

Rolex
They are probably the most known watch manufacturer, and they charge 20,000+ pounds for these classic watches. Some would argue that they should be top on the list, but in my opinion there are 3 that just beat this company.
-
Casio
Quite a modern entry to the watch world, as it was founded in 1946, and is sometimes not considered as prestigious as the likes of Omega, but still a good quality watch. The company also makes a lot of technological items, so they do not put their full time into making watches. That said, they manage to sit with the best of them, getting 9th on this top 10 list.
Have a G-Shock.

Seiko

Breitling
They make their watches mainly for pilots, so when they are being used at 20,000+ feet they have to be ultra clear, and in the unfortunate case of ejection they have to be able to sustain the extreme pressure at those high altitudes.
Absolutely brilliant, high-quality watches. So nice.

Jaeger-LeCoultre

CWC

IWC
Called Swiss but was actually founded by an American in the late 1800s. They are a small company with only 309 major employees worldwide, but the quality is shown in the price. We see this with the Big Pilot watch. You really get what you pay for.
-
Oris
Very classic Swiss watch which would have to rate highly in the watch world. They always seem to be on the sidelines. They are the quiet watch company with a relatively small empire, but you can clearly see the watch pays for itself. The Oris watch factory was founded by Paul Cattin and Georges Christian at Hölstein (Basel-Country) in 1904. Oris are well known for producing only mechanical watches.

TAG Heuer
It's an epic watch manufacturer. It should be in third place.
-
Citizen
-
Swatch
A really popular watch which has probably sold more than some of the mega giant watch companies. The quality is not as good as the likes of Oris, which makes it the last entry on the list. This is an extremely modern watch company, being founded in 1983, but they still make extremely attractive watches, for example the Charcoal Suit.
