The company also makes a lot of technological items, so they do not put their full time into making watches. That said, they manage to sit with the best of them, getting 9th on this top 10 list.

The Oris watch factory was founded by Paul Cattin and Georges Christian at Hölstein (Basel-Country) in 1904. Oris are well known for producing only mechanical watches.
