Top Ten Reasons TheTopTens User Turkeyasylum Is Going On Strike from TheTopTens

Hey guys, I'm going on strike. The Admins are getting dumber by the second. I will go off strike when either of these things happen: the Admins end their "no criticism about other users" policy, make lists have 100 items per page again, and/or have TheTopTens do the ideas I have cone up with in my upcoming blog post. While I am on strike, I will give up anything except making Labryinth posts and messaging users. The strike will start next Monday, 5/11/2015.
The items in this list have been selected by the author of the list for you to vote and comment on.
The Top Ten
1 TheTopTens isn't catering to the users

They claimed that "Our metrics indicate that the change to 20 items has been generally positive for visitors to the site." Since when do visitors matter more than actual TopTenners?

Ok, Admin, you have two days to fix what you did and realize how the users of this site have a voice that needs to be heard? What's it going to be? What you want or what we want?

I'm tired of his dumb stupid rule

2 Trying to be about positivity

No. I do not want this website to turn to anti-bullying propaganda when it's meant to be a place to express opinions.

I'd like to point out something because it's important. I've tried searching for a list that contains the word "worst" and I can no longer do that! I don't get suggestions anymore in the search box!

This is getting ridiculous. I love my parents and obey their teaching. I don't need somebody on the internet shoving it down my throat and trying to be a nanny.

Come on, you delete the "most overrated top tenners" list just because yoy think it's mean? You've got to be kidding me!

3 Going downhill

I've seen a decline on the overall website feel since the policy.

This is why I'm finally quitting the top tens, and this is the reason why I don't go on here too often.

They shouldve kept 100 items on a page not 20! When I first saw this my first reaction was "Is this some kind of glitch? "

If I'm looking for something on a list, instead of going back to pages, I go back ten!

4 Being too strict

They deleted Puga's rant on someone who wasn't even a TopTenner!

I'm not sure if I should join the strike. I'm currently debating if I should or not.

I honestly don't know if I am going to join the strike. Im still thinking about it...

I'm not sure I wanna join this strike?

5 Wanting to have a voice

I want us TopTenners to have what we want our website to have, not what the Admins want.

I'm sorry, but how is this giving us a voice when strikers are in fact absent from the site? Would admin really care more than they already do about someone who's not having as much to do with the site?

This seems pretty stupid to me. I don't have any problems with this site but if you do, there is an X in the top right corner of your screen.

6 Losing respect for the Admins

I really am lpsing my respect for them. Have they listened to our criticism?

I'm losing my respect for these users on here.

I am as well losing my respect for admins

7 Wanting to peacefully protest

I mean no harm while I strike.

Peaceful protest is fine and good luck with it. I support you're expressing your opinion. And while I disagree and am unhappy with several things the Admins do and don't do, it is Their site, and doesn't really exist for Our benefit. Be thankful that is is free to use and use it for the enjoyment you find, but realize that they created and operate it for their benefit and purposes, not for ours.

8 No Hate Week

Come on Admins, PAY ATTENTION TO THE POSTS THAT COME OUT!

I may be against the strike, but I am against No Hate Week. With that being said, I am staying here to make a stand.

9 Admins are doing what they want, when they want

Us users aren't getting a say.

No offense to the admins, but this is kind of true.

10 Proving a point

I want to show you what TheTopTens could be like with these new policies. If they get worse, expect the list feed to be deserted in a few months.

Thanks for reading, and Admin, this is a warning. I might gather up a few other usetsto strike, too. Users, strike as you wish, ad make a list on why.

To give you strikers some constructive criticism, by taking an active stand, we make the point that we are truly dedicated to making the site better with the power and spirit that we have. By detracting from the site, what we prove is that we won't bother, and thus, the opposition won't care for us. Is that what you want?
