Top Ten Things You Didn't Know You Could Do In Minecraft

Here are some things you (might) have not have known you can do in Minecraft. While Minecraft has been around for many years, a lot of people still don't know the full capability of the game.
The Top Ten
1 Equip armor on a villager

It doesn't look like you can, but here's how you do it: trap a villager, and put a dispenser facing the villager. put armor in the dispenser, and put a button and press it. To see this for yourself, put thorns on the chestplate, and hit the villager, you will take damage.

2 Add a marker on a map

Are you getting tired of placing ugly stone pillars to lead you back to your house? Well with this trick you can say goodbye to your stone pillars. All you have to do is color and name your banner to your preference, then place it where you like, and finally, right click the map on the banner, and the banner will appear in your map as a marker.

3 Get the bedrock item in survival

This might sound a little far-fetched but it is actually possible. ilmango from Scicraft has actually completed this feat. I wonder what you'd use it for though.

Impenetrable fortress 😎

4 Make an automatic raid farm

When thinking "Minecraft Farm," You'd probably imagine a row of wheat, or a slightly more complex farm such as a mob farm. But the last thing you'd think you can automate is raids. But it turns out you can! (if you want to build one, look online for tutorials.) They are really useful for totems of undying and unlimited emeralds.

5 Build the Wither horizontally

A lot of people believe the only way to make a wither is to summon him vertically. But you actually can summon him horizontally. What would you use this for? Summon the Wither sideways under the end exit portal, and then if you did it correctly you can get a easy wither kill.

6 Waterlog redstone in Bedrock Edition

Fun fact: if you own the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft, you can actually waterlog redstone! I don't understand why Java Edition doesn't have this feature, since Java Edition has better redstone.

7 Dye signs

It isn't that well known, but you can dye signs. It's a bit complicated to do in Bedrock edition, and I'd suggest seeing a tutorial, but in Java edition, all you have to do is use a dye, and then right click on your sign, and then you will dye your sign!

8 Make a sheep rainbow color

This one is pretty well known, but I thought I'd mention it here. If you name a sheep "jeb_" using a name tag, it will start changing colors. Unfortunately doing this won't get you neon wool.

9 Cause a vindicator to attack other mobs

A fun easter egg that causes a vindicator to attack other mobs. To do this, name a vindicator johnny, and it will attack anything it sees. I'm pretty sure this is a reference to a movie but not sure which one is it.

10 Travel very fast

There is a very efficient and quick way of travel, which uses enchantments and dolphins, and can get you traveling very fast. You need to have boots with depth strider, and have a dolphin to speed you up, and then make a water tunnel, and then travel through your tunnel. You will go very fast, and travel lots of blocks quickly.
